  1. Just thought a 24v would be a tad easier when it comes to rusty nuts on exhaust etc, not sure I want to cough up for a Snap on one, for the amount of use I'll give it.
  2. Will do, if I can't get any caps. I thought it would be easy, seems not so?
  3. Guys where on earth do you get these items? Scoured the internet and all the suppliers seem to be in the US or Aus. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VACUUM-LINE-HOSE-PLUG-CAP-KIT-CARBY-HOLLEY-DEMON-DRAG-/120638257825?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1c1699baa1 Only need to buy a half dozen or so, any pointers? cheers H
  4. Having been thinking about buying something like this below. Anyone have a similar tool? Good/bad points? thanks H http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/New-Clarke-CEW1000-Electric-Impact-Wrench-240v-/400155989034?pt=UK_Home_Garden_PowerTools_SM&hash=item5d2b27d42a
  5. wrong thread me thinks?
  6. cheers will look for a mk1 Fiesta breaker, thanks
  7. elongating the holes won't help I'afraid Mark, see pic below The IC pipe forces the exp. tank back at an angle. As you can see I could drill a new hole in the body work for the lower fixing point but the tank is still pissed, which stops the arch liner fitting properly. Look like I will relocate or find a smaller tank to fit the area. How big a catch tank (litres?) did you fit Mark?
  8. Guys half way through fitting some Greddy SMIC's. Having removed the CC on the passengers side to gain room for the IC I have found on refiting the expansion tank that it's sits slightly further back (only attaches on the top bracket & the top screw to chassis) with the tank sitting at an angle I can see that the arch liner isn't going to go back on. (not that is was on anyway). Was hoping to get everyting back on as OEM as possible. Shirley the drivers side will be as bad with the washer bottle in the way. Has anyone used/ mounted a smaller expansion tank and smaller washer bottle to overcome this? is so details would be great.
  9. yes I thought that about the seats aswell, they don't look quite right do they?
  10. Wait till you find out how much Nissan charge if you wnat to buy more of the stuff,
  11. No probs, not sure if I'm done you're way for a while but you're welcome to pop in for a cuppa if you're in the area John.

  17. Been thinking about getting some for sometime Dave, what did you have in mind? combining postage costs or something? Perhaps we could get a discount for x2, Howard
  18. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I have used these guys for years for as my business courier and they very good/competitive. You may well get cheaper, but I doubt you'll get the same service level. hth
  19. Have a similar problem with the bumpers on my W/A, I would like the gaps put back between the front wings and bottom sill as well so you can remove the wings if necessary.... Would make things much easier! Sounds like when you have finished most of the car will have been resprayed? Be sure to post up some pics once you have the work done, not enough wide arch's on here.
  20. Looks like this guys work http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/nissan-300-zx-wide-body-kit-/220672766626?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item33611f32a2 rather than Lukes.
  21. Another  for Lynbrook as well. Pab, you gave me there details last year and I've just changed to them saved £70 plus have more miles on the policy as well cheers :duffer:
  22. Tried my standard USB to serial conertor that I've had for ages, it didn't work ended up buying the one Dan @ DTA sells and know works fine. hth
  23. Deep pockets, as you will ideally need forged internals, larger tubs, bigger injectors, uprated clutch, brakes etc. to relistically get this figure without destroying your engine. Even doing the work yourself I reckon 8-10k if your buying new parts. hth
  24. Hoping that my mates special "Freeway" penetrating oil (from the avaition industry) will help, but I'm sure I'll have at least 1 bolt shear off. So will check these Cobolt drill bit just in case, thanks.
  25. Looking to replace my downpipes very soon, so keep the info flowing :-)
