  1. Well if £600 is about the max I could expect, given the market place then so be it. As you say a bit disappointing, as I was hoping for more like a 1k but hey h
  2. Blimey, Ive seen total $h*t on ebay for more than double that!
  3. Right, looking to sell my engine that is currently in my TT. It's done 66k miles full service history Nissan dealers & Zedworld. The car/engine has a massive histroy file! Silverbullet replaced the cambelt tensioners ect. 1.5 years ago, only about 3k miles since then. Great oil pressure and non smoking turbos. The buyer could see/hear it running as I have nothing to hide. I even have the RR printout from when I first bought it obviously it's done 4-5k since then, but as I say I've nothing to hide and any inspection welcome. I'm only looking to do this so as I can progress faster with my performance engine rebuild. So over to you guys what would it be worth including tubs?
  4. I did mine, (non standard bumper though) didn't have any choice as the wings were joined to the front bumper. Managed to put larger IC's in aswell
  5. Thanks, I'll check it out and get back to you Alex.
  6. Probably a bit OTT from the sounds of it Al, but I'll bear it in mind though :cool3:
  7. It's mainly for my wife, who needs access from her desktop/laptop and occasionally her phone. She already has external Hard drive and multiple USB storage devices.

  14. At the time I had an itch to get a Audi RS6 which I did, and in my mind I couldn't justify running to V8 cars, so I sold my Volvo V70R and the Cerb and bought this beast Although the RS6 was a great car, it was consistantly having visits to the dealer for one thing or another, not what I was expecting. I thought of Audi as a premium brand and didn't expect things like the suspension to be so fragile given that the car had only done 18k miles when I bought it. So after 18 months of ownership and the recession kicking in I sold up and bought the Zed. I have always had a soft for turbo'd cars and the Zed was a car that I had admired when it first came out and is a keeper. But the Cerbera is in a league of it's own, classic design, V8 TVR developed engine with a flat plane crank engine, plus its British makes it a very special car. Oh and exhaust sound was to die for. IMO the best TVR to date with the possible excepetion of the Sagaris but then they have the troublesome Speed Six engine. One day I will defo buy another even if I am old and grey, :wheelchair:lol.
  15. Don't think it made 200mph, but wiped the floor against the competition, and that was one of the earlier models

  17. Slightly OT, but couldn't resist, sorry All ready for the protest up in London when the Russian owner pulled the plug on TVR Possibly one of the nicest cockpits to be IMO Wish I'd never sold it really, the stories on reliability are to be taken with a pinch of salt, find a good one and you can't go wrong

  19. Just because you have charged the battery does not mean that it has enough juice to start the car. If one of the battery cells is duff it wont have enough AMPS to start the car. Best get it checked out ASAP at least it may be a cheap fix. Fingers crossed
  20. Been using 1 & 1 internet for 8 years no problems, good customer service aswell
  21. cheers for the links guys, the offset needs to 60 deg, still searching, lol
  22. Good idea, thanks, thats half the job. Still have to get the retaining nut 22m off the secondhand c/overs, the c/overs don't have a Allen bolt like the OEM shock they have a 11mm sqaure/flange that your supposed to grip somehow whilst using the 22mm socket. Just don't wont to start the job and get stuck half way through as he needs the car after the weekends, to go back to Uni. So once started I would like to finish.
  23. Guys, my son has bought a set of coilovers for his Golf Mk4. HOW TO GUIDE HERE: http://noahlh.com/car/coilover_howto/ In order to get the OEM shocks off I need to get hold of a 21mm - 60 degree offset spanner/s & one 22mm to get the coilovers back on the car, Short of buying a complete set from the US, can anyone point me towards a UK supplier? I can't even seem to find them on the Snap On site
  24. Yep, I got charged Duty for second hand SMIC's the other year :2guns:
