  1. JP, surely your car didn't come out of the garage behind our Zed?
  2. Great photo Andrew! :whistling: Measure that Nissan sign for the LED's Andrew
  3. Useful info chaps as I am about to remove mine this weekend. Would have no doubt tried sliding these off as per the windscreen and small t top one. I don’t need to chase any more unnecessary damage :taz:
  4. [quote Full of Win (factory) Hahah... I see what you did there
  5. No the best end to my day. Have been removing trim etc in preparation for the respray and in removing the very last clip from the front windscreen trim this happened ......:w00t::mad:
  6. Lovely idea Tom. Hope someone can help you out with the wiring.
  7. Might be a real one soon Si :whistling:
  8. Will do Si, thanks
  9. Thanks guys for the info, glass now out, with no breakages!
  10. Hi, thought I should start a new thread, and try and collate all the various work that the car has had since my 9 years of ownership. I cannot believe its been 9 years! and finally my Zed is going to get the respray she deserves. I have spent the last few weeks deliberating on what colour to go for, and have decided to stick with red. At the moment that's as far as its got though, the shortlist of reds is still at 4/5 options, so more pouring over photos and visiting the odd showroom to help with the decision process. Many thanks to those of you who supplied photos and information on colours, wheels etc. I will add some key previous threads to this post, along with photos of the stripping of the car and its subsequent paint job. I cannot wait for the beginning of February when the car is due to be transported to Kraftwork.
  11. Thanks for info Si. I will give it go from the top and bottom, hopefully I won't need to buy your spare glass.
  12. Hi, could someone give me a pointer in how to "split" apart the housing on the mirrors without damaging the housing or mirror please? I have read on US forums that on JDM mirrors, you need to remove the small screw on the underside of the casing before be able to get the glass out. You will see that my mirror housing does not have this screw in place, and I am reluctant to try prising the glass out at this stage. Thanks guys.
  13. Red tailgate, from Dan300zx immaculate car. No glass, no rust! slight depression on boot lid from where Dans spoiler was fitted. £45 - collection only
  14. Selling these very rare Ganador mirrors, painted black, with blue glass, and power cable to both and in very good condition. When I bought these one of the glass mirrors was broken. Replacement Ganador glass is not available anymore. So I had some new mirror acrylic CNC'd to match the shaped originals. I had some spares cut at the same time and will included these with the sale. £300 incl posting, to UK address
  15. About bloody time too  Great write up Nick, with plenty of highs and lows on your journey thus far. Looking forward to seeing the next chapter unfold. :thumbup1:
  16. Happy Christmas to you all. Nice pictures Richard.
  17. Welcome Jack. Looking forward to seeing your Zed.
  18. I am considering what to colour to paint my car in a couple of months. Black is one of the colours at the top of the list, and wanted to see a black wide arch.
  19. Happy Birthday Chris
  20. Happy Birthday Gary :thumbup1:
  21. Yes, they made my 3" complete exhaust from downpipes to exits. No complaints at all, I have had the exhausts on and off over the last couple of years and the fitment and welds are excellent (Jimmer recommended them to me, when he finished my rebuild.)
  22. These look like good value Tom, especially for s/steel. https://conceptzperformance.com/dna-motoring-dna-stainless-steel-divorced-flange-60mm-2.5-downpipes-4-bolt-nissan-300zx-twin-turbo-tt-z32-14449-vpcss_p_856.php
  23. Can you post the photos up on this thread Lee?
  24. Thanks Nick - - - Updated - - - Good to know that she still on the road then Jim.
