Rich hi, I've done some more measurements and its the same as the tailgate on my spare car, if you are only after the glass then it will need a good polish as its got some overspray on it from the fence panel. my other one is on the spare and is okay, been in the elements for 18 mths so green algae on it but will clean up, spoiler is sh*te, but glass okay as well. pic here. Let me know. wont be offended if you want to go elsewhere. Rich ps bit of advice, if you are swapping screen get a PRO to do it. I tried once and ended up in 2 million bits of glass on the grass....

Richard, I said you could have it. its off a Z32, actually I have 2 one on my spare car , G reg 2+2 and one propped up against the wall. how can I tell difference between a swb tailgate and a lwb Rich stop press just found a pic of it, ill go and measure the straight edge and compare it to my zed. Tough seeing in dark and rain but it seems to be the same dimension up the straight edge and also overall length.

I know, budget questions not allowed, but... I know of no more cleverer bunch of people around, so here goes... If this govt makes a budget proposal now, if they don't get in power in May, can the new govt throw it out or are they bound (no pun ) to accept it. or if they like it ..keep it. Rich

Hollings, thanks for the advice, obviously with the heater isolated I will have no hot or cold air or screen demist. and also Noz included, if the heater matrix is leaking, can anything be added to the coolant to fix it like you can for rads? Rich

Been working on the car recently, including replacing the radiator, and then today (3 rd day s use) water has been coming out of the plastic vents at the feet of the passenger where hot/ cold air should be , what's going on. Been driving it today and things seem back to normal, so maybe it just needed a bit of use after being out of action for a while, I am interested in the references to the wiring on the dash and the speedo converter on an import (which mine is)? cheers Rich
