Electric Drivers seat, Problem.
Okay, got the switch/harness off the seat, and it seemed to pass a continuity check on all positions on both switches, on the fwd/back it even reached the connector, so does that mean its the motor thats fubar?

Misfire...Again.
Hi Guys, The cars been going okay since i changed the part at the end of the wiring loom in front of the fan, cant remember its name for the life of me. But now its started to misfire again, i'm slowly going up the wall, One thing that i changed on my merc when it misfired was the Air flow sensor, Something i've not thought of changing in the Zed. Anyone got one or can recommend a place, cars a series 1 '90 N/A Auto. Shouldn't have got rid of my spare one... Rich

BIG problem, because the seat is fully back, i cant get any access to the rear bolts, does anyone know if there is a trick for reversing the switch with a piece of wire to get it to move forward? i'll post this question separate as well for those not on this thread

Andrew, hi. the seat was at its normal pos, and i pulled it back 2-3 inches but it wouldn't go forward, doing this a few times resulted in the seat being all the way back. Thanks for the other info. Rich

Electric Drivers seat, Problem.
Hi Guys Suddenly, the power forward option on my electric drivers seat has stopped working, all the other functions work fine, it just wont go forward. Are the individual motors, etc, i would sacrifice one of the other movements, once set, if thats possible, Also if i have to remove the seat, is it a big jobby.... is there a way to overide the electric motor and push it forward. URGENT! Front fog lights complete or some of the wiring
Hi Guys, MOT time.. forgot to realise that the sidelights were in the fogs, thought i would sort the fogs out after , it failed on ONE item, yep, no front side lights. So i have a few fog lights assemblies, but they dont have the wiring to the sides inside off the bullet connector, So i'm after a set of front fogs i can just plug in or if someone has the wiring so i can build up my pieces. Needless to say i have a need, a need for this to happen quickly Many thanks Rich

Bumper Crack
hi Guys, im fixing a crack on my bumper and have done the fibre glass on the back but was wondering what type of filler to use on the front, as well as on other defects (now i've cleaned off the non hardened plastic filler.) The reason i ask is that while sanding back, the existing filler used on top of the grp/gelcoat whatever you call it, resembles the std filler used on solid structures, P38/Upol/bondo etc. i mean the plastic filler is pricey and the P38 type is not. Opinions please.

MOT question
Thanks guys, i asked the mot place if they could do it, and they said "of course" great i thought , is there a cost? "£20" came the reply... so with a bit from all your help, i managed to do it myself.. mind you, when i took it back for a re test, a different examiner found a lot of different advisories than the first. that is one of my pet hates... another thread, Oh car passed... Thanks Rich

Things not to do when you're tired
Decided this morning (after a restless night) to finish sanding my rear bumper and put some plastic bumper filler on the worst depressions, As you can see from the picture all went well. So This afternoon i get my sandpaper and start rubbing, only to discover i had forgotten to add the hardener..... DOH!! Words fail me...

Blonde Moment 2
Hi Guys, 2 points 1 Which pistons are serviced by which spark plug/that long black thing that does the electrics,(see what i mean, my brain has gone) What i mean is , if you are standing in front of the car looking at the engine you have 3 cylinders on the left etc..., at angles both on the left and right are the spark plugs and , i remember ! Coil packs (phew!) but does the , for instance, first plug/pack on the passenger side (your right) fire up the front left or right cylinder. Without ever stripping one down or being able to find some piccys, i'm finding it hard to work out in my head. Because it goes between the inlets on the other side, in my mind, the ones on the right, service the cylinders on the left.am i right, wrong. Dont worry once i've gone you will no longer have to put up with my brain injured questions... 2 the 300zx pdf manual has this diagram for piston numbers, is it right?
