Daffy, i feel for you mate, suffered for years from it, mainly due to Dialysis not taking the uric acid out... Good thing is i no longer suffer from it, Bad news is i now suffer from nerve damage which is gives me daily the equivalent level of pain, trouble is, had it for 4 years and will do so till i die... I'm sure you are taking the correct meds so hope it eases off. Rich

Non-standard bits?? (Picture Heavy)
Iain, your totally wrong, dont you recall our discussion about the std gear selector being the most desirable of all auto options, all those other non std ones are so last year...... CC, you've certainly get some unusual items there. They all look very desirable...except of course that awful gear knob...hang on, i've just had an idea...why dont we swap our gear knobs, as you're fairly new , i'm willing to take your one so that you can use the one that is used by all the class members, rich

Any legal Eagles out there..dealing with death
Thanks guys, and thanks for your kind words. Interesting points made Arkwright, extensive to..thanks, Luckily i'm not the executor, the son is..and at the moment , as is always the case at weddings and funerals, tempers run high and he has decided to go it alone, So having the correct facts does help when i can ram it down his gob!! My only concern was that the creditors would insist (do they have the right??) on the house being sold to pay off the small credit card debt. Thanks anyway. rich

Any legal Eagles out there..dealing with death
Hi Guys. Father in law passed away this morning, pneumonia, etc . he was ill for a while, was in Addenbrokes Hospital for a week and gently slipped away. not unexpected. (he's been on 100% oxygen for 3 days) Here is my question. He had a pension which stops, and also had a few credit cards with outstanding money owing. Now i've read up on the fact the debt doesn't die with him, but also it doesn't transfer to his wife, or us...After the funeral expenses are paid for, what ever is left in his estate is dished out. Problem is he owns (not sure if joint) his house where his wife, my mother in law lives to. He left a will giving all his assets etc to his wife. So, as the house is part/whole of the estate, does it have to be sold to clear his debts, putting my Mum in law homeless. Fact is she wants to stay. She does not have any money to pay the debts herself. Some advice would be nice. Thx Rich

Digital input
Hi Guys, I've acquired 2 x 50" Pioneer Plasma Screens approx 10 yrs old. They do not have the traditional inputs associated with today's digital age. On one i have Inputs here, not to sure what they are,The manual says they are for PC input only. and on the other screen, which appears a little younger, These inputs appear to support a digital box TV output, Now one of my questions is, on the second TV which would be the best input from a scart lead to obtain the best picture quality, Any TV Techies out there...help!! Rich ps i might be selling them later if anyone's interested

Gearbox trouble
ZW Hi, thanks for your input (shaft) I know its in the manual, but have you ever stripped down a box before, Cheers Rich
-
Gearbox trouble
Is this ability to remove the input shaft indicate there is a known and fixable problem with the box? The replacement box couldn't remove the input shaft... Cheers Rich

Gearbox trouble
