  1. Corbeau seats would be my choice, as I know a few people going to that, and thinking of buying some down the line, North part of bewl water is a good car park and cafe apparently, may not be best for pictures, Don't know anything about battle Abbey, Or we find somewhere on the coast for coffee etc.
  2. There's Bewl water reservoir Bodiam castle Battle addey Corbeau seats Seafront somewhere. Etc Ali pm me where you want picking up from.
  3. Plan was to head to Hastings, That's assuming it's still worth going ahead with 3 zeds, Long way and alot of fuel,
  4. What time are people thinking, 2pm clacket Lane? What are the opinions on end locations? Ali could possibly pick you up on route if your stuck, don't know if someone might be going that way on the way back?
  5. Got battle Abbey, near there too,
  6. Got a suggestion for sat if people still want to meet, Corbeau seats are having an open day in Hastings that afternoon, My idea is starting at clacket Lane on m25, head down the a21 towards Hastings stop for photos somewhere in high weald maybe bewl water (looks nice) then continue down to Hastings, Or if people prefer there's Bodiam castle just before Hastings, or even find somewhere on the seafront What do people think any ideas suggestions,
  7. Good luck, had forgotten they had allowed it again this year, wish I'd entered too, Hopefully I'll find time to come and watch.
  8. Hi and welcome, I'm in Sussex, 28th Oct we have the ace Cafe for a meet if you want to join us.
  9. Right afternoon of the 9th it is, Let's get some suggestions for good locations for photos meets etc, think couple of stops followed by coffee/cake stop is good,
  10. Anyone around on the 9th-10th? If there's only a few maybe just an I formal meet somewhere like the blue water meets used to be.
  11. Right I'm back now, Let's get something organised, otherwise we'll have to wait till the 28 Oct for the ace Cafe...
  12. Just remembered I'm at wings & wheels on the 27th What about the 3rd September?
  13. OK guys, what dates can people do over the next couple of months?
  14. I haven't spoken to them yet, once I have an idea of dates I'll give them a ring.
  15. Sorry guys just caught up with this... Botley Hill, had suggested they could open for bacon rolls etc one morning if we could justify it, so could be a good start point then on to a few locations for photos etc then ending somewhere for lunch So what dates can people do? I'm away 18-25 Aug other then that can do anywhen.
  16. Will see everyone at Tesco at 8:15, looking forward to it, Have we got the passes to print yet?
  17. Yeah I'd definitely prefer a recurring membership, always forget or miss my renewal so I'd use it.
  18. Was a great weekend, thanks to everyone who made it happen, and everyone who attended, Hopefully next year my zed will be a bit more presentable, that being big thanks to jimmer for it being there at all.
  19. Im getting my zed back this week hopefully, so I'll be trying to get some meets organised, I like the idea of bacon sandwiches at Botley Hill, and a convoy/ beach run for a bbq could work. Will chat to people at the agm this weekend to discuss some ideas.
  20. My zeds still at jimmers, going down on Monday to drop some bits off but not looking like I'll be able to join in.
  21. Another slicktop, Good good, not on my own this year, representing the proper zeds... Hehe
  22. An a car with a proper a frame is legally a trailer, and you can tow over 750kg if the total weight of both is below 3500kg. Checked it before, But changed my mind anyway, I'm possibly buying our an transit flatbed so would solve the problem
  23. Sorry guys not been very proactive with the Reo thing, it's hard to get motivated when I can't drive my zed, But do people want me to organise a meet at some point? Any suggestions?ideas?, I'll see about making it happen.
  24. I checked unfortunately it's definitely the whole train weight, I could take a test to get a larger allowance but the drift bimmer I want couldn't tow it anyway and I've nowhere to store a trailer.
  25. I'm hoping there will be nothing to see, bar sits where crash bar was, so shouldn't be very visible from the out side, to use will have 2 screw in type towing eyes for the a frame to mount to, ( can also double up as tow hooks for trackdays when installed) either top corners of main hole in front bumper or maybe fog holes depending on the A-frame ( need to get a braked one) and measure things up, brakes are easy cable operated from the A-frame, but I want the servo to work so it will actually have efficient brakes, so will use the tow bar wiring to power a small vacuum pump connected to the servo. In my head this is a good idea, but will see,
