  1. That's brilliant, only seen one other zed's in Haywards heath in all the time I've owned them, think I'd best visit Eastbourne lol.
  2. She's definitely being looked after.... They fitted, So new front discs and yellowstuff pads and 4 new Bridgestone tyres, been an expensive day lol.
  3. Thanks for letting me know, I managed to track some down actually arrived last night, about to fit them today ironically. Hope they are right lol.
  4. Thanks, hadn't thought of that, tbh the slicktop and my na are roughly the same weight overall anyway, but will contact them closer to the time thanks
  5. That's a good price, and the same size as my fronts, interested to hear how you get on, particularly if you do drift it, Was struggling with grip at the front during my last dwyb, looking at alt. Tyres too.
  6. Not sure how to add the link from my phone but think this is his sort of thing... http://www.ebay.com/itm/321706905767 Someone has been busy, admire the effort but I don't like it....
  7. I'm looking for an r-vit if anyone has one or knows of one, got one already but want one for my other zed, but blitz have discontinued them Thanks.
  8. Thats a shame working sat or I'd have come up.
  9. Sorry to bring up an old thread, hoping you'll come online and read this, but did you ever work out what the kit was from? I'm having a nightmare trying to source new pads and discs for it, as the 8 pot 300zx calipers were not available in 330mm so explains why they didn't fit, glad I found this thread, was thinking of replacing the whole kit but better not as I don't have spare hubs...
  10. It is a daily still, but it's 6 miles to work lol
  11. Maybe I'm being stupid, spent money on the z1 fly prop clutch etc, guess I shouldn't cut corners now, at least I could still trackday it with a 2 way... And the subframe with the good diff would fit the slicktop should the worst happen to the na...
  12. I'd like to hear from anyone who's uprated or welded their diffs. Before anyone goes off on one this is for my na, which is just a bit of fun, and I'm going to be drifting alot more with it, Its become apparent my oe diff is worn out, it's acting too much like an open diff, so needs to go, it's the biggest thing holding me and it back (apart from coilovers but it's getting the slicktops meister when I change them) so looking for opinions from people, seen a nice 2 way on z1's site, but wonder if it's worth the money or should I weld it...?
  13. 3k wow..., if you want a slightly rusty na, I'll sell mine for 3k lol... Shame, I like the look of it ,
  14. My na was rotten when I got it, took loads of welding, that was a few years ago, still needs more, but has been the most fun car i've ever owned, our bodyshop said it was only fit for the scrap yard, it's still proving them wrong on a daily basis lol... Given how rare our cars are getting if your willing to put the time in don't be put off, just check it carefully and budget accordingly
  15. Because it's over 200bhp it doesn't start first time...? Both of mine must be down on power then, as they start first time... It's not road legal By the look of it, dedicated drift car, where's the fun in that, it's not a challenge unless you drive it home afterwards...
  16. Sorry forgot my bonnet is in my lockup but here's where I made the holes, enough clearance to get the nuts on the pins,
  17. Don't have the bonnet fitted anymore, but can take some pictures of the holes and the underside of the bonnet tomorrow afternoon if I get time.
  18. I drilled new hole a few inches in from the bump stops,
  19. They are a pain to fit, here's where mine were fitted, ( not fitted anymore, I'd advise leaving the bump stops on and the oe catch if you've a fibreglass or carbon bonnet as mine flexed a fair bit.
  20. Fast is just a programme, it doesn't take much for it to lose a bit of data here and there. There's also lots of versions of it, bet my version twice the size of yours lol... As I made it by combining all the fast data we had at work, as the newer version were missing numbers and certain jap models,
  21. It's blue and orange...? where's the option for that?
  22. It's amazing the way the same exhuast sounds different on different zed's. Particularly from a tt to an na, I've had so many different exhuast exhuasts on my various zed's never one of those though... I love my z1 pg exhuast, not the best quality quality, but the sound, imo The best
  23. I've written a shopping list... Unfortunately due to its length and the apparent load of work my zed's going to need it won't be finished for this year, so we'll call it a practice session lol. And it'll either run as is or the na can come.
  24. Fingers crossed but I believe the boost issues resolved, can move onto the na's lack of speedo now... Found a couple of split vacuum lines, and the boost controller was taking its signal from an odd place, so connected properly, and reset the controller, set it up from scratch and now it's boosting Everytime, full 14.7 psi, low 10psi, although I ended up with a gain of 8? Seems low but it was definitely the best setting. Have to say this zed's the fastest thing I've driven, hopefully I'll have the important parts replaced and have it sorted for totb, can't wait to see what it's capable of...
  25. I've now got it boosting constantly to 13psi, but any higher and the faults back, although it's not the most stable boost, I noticed as well ( because I had the bungs in the exhaust) that when the fault occurs there's a clicking behind the dash? It's not coming from the controller, and the solenoid is up by the battery, what could becoming the noise? It sounds mechanical but it's only when the boost is playing up, surely there's no boost pipes in the car? Or is it the solenoid is on the way out?
