  1. It's definitely a chipped ecu, but there's nothing useful written on it, the ice and pipework are shocking glad I'd already choosen to replace them, it has a boost solenoid one side but it's disconected,??? the boost controller controllers solenoids solenoids is fitted with mismatch pipes and joins this is going to be a bigger project then it was supposed to be...
  2. Unfortunately I don't have anything that can read the map, got the consults at work and my r-vit at home, if I removed the ecu and send it to you is it something you could look at?
  3. There was a thread but I didn't get anywhere, and had a couple of other things to ask. I'll start looking tomorrow see if there's anything written on the ecu or chip. And look into the boost solenoids, might be a stupid question but does the zeds not go into a limp mode if it detects detention ? Thought that was the code 34 ,
  4. Detting? As far as I can see the knock sensors connected, and there's no error codes, ( it's got the na's r-vit connected.) when it did it on the dyno it ran really rich, detting would be lean wouldn't it? The settings on the boost controller did look high for its lack of boost...
  5. I've had problems with the na's dash before, didn't realise the pas worked through it, assumed it would read from the ecu. The swb has meister r coilovers, they don't look that old, no play in anything I could see when it was on the ramp.
  6. I've a week off work, so need to fix a few things with my zeds First is on the was home yesterday in the na and the speed speedo suddenly stopped working, if the steering goes steering when heavy as well so could be fun to fix any suggestions? Mainly want to work on my swb, and I need some advice on its boost issue, took it for a drive and think I've worked out a pattern, it boosts 1 bar through 1-3 gear, but under load in 4th 5th (like when I was on the dyno) it only reaches 0.5 bar, but if it's still accelerating from 3rd so under less load it boosts properly. Can't test 4th into 5th on public roads. Anyone have any ideas, thought it was the boost controller but why would load affect it? The other thing is a creak knock from the drivers wheel, had it in the air at work couldn't find any play in anything, Any advice would be appreciated, thanks
  7. As a parts manager for one of your rival dealers, can I just say.... Lucky git... Lol... We're not a performance dealer so we only see the older stuff, bet you don't get many 240z and other datsuns like we do lol...
  8. That's a result I'm opposite side of the road in shuto s10.
  9. I use my na manual daily, have done for the last 2 years, and before that I used my tt autos daily. Don't think there's much difference in running costs, Admittedly I've now got a garage queen too....
  10. I don't like getting passed by anything... Is that why this is in the help section...? I'd go with more power...hehe
  11. That seems odd, doesn't take nissan that long to inform us something is no longer available... Wonder if the order was messed up... Either way, be good to have another green zed on the road, was lonely at Coventry last year with the only factory green zed.
  12. It's the same as mine, and mines a 95 "n" reg although mine doesn't have 300zx on the seats, or abs... Lol
  13. I only mentioned because it was green, and there's not many of them left. And in fairness my zed shouldn't have been saved in most peoples eyes, it was that rotten, must be a green thing...lol
  14. It's not mine nor anything to do with me, but green zed don't come up very often... EBay item: 321662201762 Can't get the link working so number will have to do. It's a manual, not as new or nice condition as mine, but could be saved by someone, it's one of my favourite colours on a zed...
  15. Why I'm lucky to have my two, always amazed how over looked they are, and how much car you're getting for the money. Mine aren't going anywhere they're mine long term.
  16. Saw the generation game one last night too where Clarkson and Hammond insult it and then it beats the 350z. Dunsfold contacted me, due to noise complaints they no longer rent the track to car clubs...
  17. Think I've seen it around too, lwb tt? Don't think they're a member on here, We should have a Sussex meet as there's a few of us now, and a few prospective members who might benefit from a meet.
  18. That's better clean now... Vented nose or not, I'm thinking not.
  19. Haha.... I did look the matching reg numbers n300 lwb to match the silvers swb but it's gone... I haven't ruled out a full track zed yet, will depend on if I find the right base cheap enough, But With the green one playing daily drive, I can focus on making the fast road zed i always wanted out of the slicktop.
  20. It was a trackday toy, but the silver slicktop put an end to it and now it's my daily drive lol. And the silver ones the special occasion toy.
  21. Front bumpers staying lol. I like it now, agree a set of 99 Spec tail lights would look good,
  22. Ignore the rain and dirt, was at work this morning lol. It started as snow
  23. OK simple before or after? Before: Or after:
  24. Wangan, was the favourite, near the trade, fairly central. Not sure what the back up options were.
  25. So where are you lot requesting your stand? In the process of choosing ours now.
