  1. Can't remember but wasn't cheap, and it was one car at a time on track, time trial style, i've emailed them to ask the question if it's still possible was a few years ago. Between a few of us could be feasible.
  2. Sorry to hear it, I lost a zed to cylinder 6 before, not good. Maybe someone has a second hand engine for sale, as a cheaper alternative. There's plenty of us who 've had engines out so plenty of advice and knowledge on here
  3. It's expensive but they do rent it out as a trackday. 300zx club day..... Hint hint
  4. Seen the car up close at Dunsfold, can see why it was £1500
  5. Get some pictures up... I'd take the temperature gauge with a pinch of salt, they're not very accurate. And there are a few factors that affect how fast the engine will heat up, heaters on, outside temp, is it just idling or are you driving it, etc... Etc...
  6. That's probably why I like them, big, ugly, ridiculous yet fast, first car to reach 200mph in nascar, I know their more or less the same but the daytona beats the roadrunner in my eyes. Though I the camaro, particularly the ss is a great car.
  7. Don't say that, the dodge charger daytona, is my favourite car of all time...
  8. Somwhere in there is a spoiler and a bonnet... Keep forgetting how much I put in there, worrying thing is I never owned a white zed so no idea where the targa came from... Don't remember buying the single exit exhuast either...?
  9. Yeah I do like that zed, Was only ever supposed to be a cheap bit of fun whilst my old tt was off the road, but it's earned it's place, so now it's time it was looked after, most ironic thing is its the cheapest car I ever bought, it's a zed, and it's the most reliable car i've ever owned....
  10. Will go down my lockup in the week and get a few bits, then i can do some trial fitting next weekend. You be pleased to know the Bee'R been disabled too, still fitted, but disabled until I have more time to remove it.
  11. I like that, and I have the original green spoiler ( that type I think) in my lockup... Bonnet might have to go at some point as well, just broke one of the areocatches.... Opps
  12. I need your opinions on my na, i know the general consensus to the bgw is not good but for my zed was it right? Since buying my slicktop the na is becoming less of a toy and more of a daily drive, so re thinking a few bits of it, spoil made sense as a trackday car imo. But now it's just adding drag, but having taken it off I'm not sure my zed looks right... so should it stay or go? And what should it be replaced with if anything anything? ( pictures of suggestions please.) With: Without:
  13. Thanks for the information, well that'll be coming off at the weekend then. It's a shame, I genuinely thought I was helping it by limiting it's revs lower, tbh it's why I like the knowledge we have in this forum, always someone to correct me when I'm being thick hehe
  14. I guess nothing just didn't like reving that high, and not knowing what I was reving to. In your opinion noel, would letting it hit the stock limiter at the higher revs be better then?
  15. ?? Are there any fuel cut ones out there? I hit it so rarely now, is it really doing that much damage on occasion? Oh well it's a cheap na, the oil didn't smell of fuel or anything last time it was changed, hadn't read that on the other threads.
  16. I can't remember how I wired it in, did have a nissan manual in front of me at the time, my rev counter doesn't work, so it stops me reving too high, ( get a bit carried away) it's set about 6 k I think, tbh I don't sit there bouncing off it, Normally hit it whilst accelerating it pops and I change gear, suppose I should get a shift light really but this is more fun. Just like to point out my zed was a cheap bit of fun and wouldn't dream of fitting it to my tt slicktop.
  17. Is your a genuine one? Mine is and I've never had a problem with it. It's on my daily drive zed, been on it for over a year now.
  18. I ve a japspeed exhuast on my na, very raspy, not too loud, track legal noise wise, I imagine it would be quiter on a tt. Having said that the z1 pg on my tt is the best sounding zed exhuast I've ever heard. ( my opinion only) but is loud.
  19. Just been given a dvd of totb 2, by a mechanic at work, slightly concerned I'm out of my depth hah there were some scary cars running that year.
  20. If they weren't red they'd be perfect, Surprised there not more people with them, was hoping for pictures
  21. Yeah it's too far unfortunately, only have an electric van at work now, tbh not against buying new seats. Just looking for what looks good and fits.
  22. Ideally wanted a pair, but definitely intrested. Any idea how much? Or where it is?
  23. Seeing Pete put his seats up for sale has reminded me I want some lighter seats for my slicktop. ( unfortunately petes too far from me so his are out) It's power modifications have started, and apart from some tidying the outside is being left alone, interior is staying in. I'm looking for something that doesn't look out of place, so any recommendations and pictures would be helpful, I like the bride seats, but intrested to hear suggestions. This is the car...
  24. Haha, almost didn't recognise it with its old reg,
