Couldn't resist , looks like my zed's sold so put the deposit down on its replacement, really excited, it's not new but feels like it to me, was traded in at work at a silly price so now it's mine. OK it's not a 300zx but I needed somthing newer as I could be travelling alot more soon.

For sale are my early style hks dump valves, purchased from a member on here a few months ago, briefly fitted, but realised when I change to 2.5 intake I won't be using them £100 posted, they both work, and are mounted on y pipes designed for the 300zx,

I'm not against a joint meet with the mr2 club, as you've said would be better then just a few of us, Does anyone have any suggestions on location if we had a zed only meet? Time and place depending I'll come along to either a just zed meet or joint meet.

Again I'm from Sussex, would be interested in a meet.

Is that what slicktop are selling for now? And a na at that, I think I need to up what I insured my tt one at...

I'm after a few bit, First I'm still after a set of clocks for a 95 na. Second I need a manual drivers seat runner. Third I another blitz rvit And has anyone got any swb exhausts? If so what have you got?

I'm starting to think maybe I'd have been better getting a 2.5" system... Does anyone know at what point the 3" is necessary. Assuming until I upgrade my turbos it's probably costing me power, I wonder if restricting the exhaust would actually help at lower Rpm, maybe hooking the valves up to an old actuator so it opens with boost? Anyone know how they do it on the corvette s etc?

Fair point, probably means the labree pipes aren't as good either, maybe I'll see if someone can build me a better system once I've some spare money I've only got lwb exhuasts in my lock up,

Thanks Pete Worried someone would say that, it's brand new I imported it a few months ago... Was told when paired with the labree pipes it's the best performance exhuast available. Hadn't really thought about noise.... The labree pipes are resonated, maybe if I replaced the decat pipes with resonators too it'd bring it down, I really want to keep the 3" system for when I eventually get bigger turbos etc...

Need some advice/ opinions I'm trying to quite my zed down, it's currently fitted with 2.5 downpipes and a pg 3" catback (also decat) Bungs in its too loud 103 db, don't even want to know how loud without ( childish but sometimes we need to bring the noise) I'm just about to order the matching 3" labree ultimate downpipes, they are resonated apparently, but suspect it'll get louder, Now, changeing the exhaust is out of the question, but I'm trying to fit a control valve into the system, My first plan was to fit 2 one in each bank, after the h section, just before the mufflers, they are not safe for boosting but for low speeds and idling they are OK as they don't completely shut the exhaust off, But could I run a single valve? just shut one muffler off, after the h? or would this give me pressure problems? I'm right in thinking it would quite it down? I can partially close them to hopefully drop it to track noise levels, and close them more to not make so much noise getting home.

It hadn't occurred to me to go for a black harness had looked at white or the purple, Seen 50mm or 75mm harnesses, thinking 75 will dig in less, And 5 point should be enough for an amateur like me,

I've finally chosen my seats, going for corbeau pro series seats, 1 regular for me, and a gt(wide) for passenger seat, but can't decide on colours, seats are black, red/black, blue/black or grey/black, don't want the bright colours but grey/black did look good, What does anyone think? And harness colour? I'm liking the 75mm purple 5 point. Corbeau are only a few miles from me so it's ideal, It's for the silver slicktop.

Saw a 300zr once ( yes zr) was a z31 with the 32 engine looked really nice.

Lots of carbon fibre.....* * joking I think having side skirts it needs something on the front, can't picture the stilled lip, but agree it looks great as is.

I wonder if you crossed this with a cyro2 system to bring temperatures dow, it could work, for short periods of time anyway.

Is there a noise limit for totb? Got told my cars too loud for castle Combe, even with the bungs in...

I like watching the zed session so I'm happy in a different one, will definitely come over, my zed's in the far field on the adl stand if anyones round that far...

I'm in a different session to you lot, but providing I pass the noise test (will be close) I'll be on track, mines a big bhp build lol, just the budgets not there ye, so it's going to be a long term build... Not done with my na yet either....
