  1. just to jump in here as im in the middle of fiiting my new engine with the 3" stainless downpipes from speciality zed using jwt sports 650 turbos will it need removing on mine ?? richard
  2. well im still nor further as to what to do with mi zed, keep her or have 4 cars lol, decided to buy the bmw 645 convertible, as mi gilrfriend really likes it as her second car, as it would cost to much to run for her 65 miles a day work trip,so she uses her little pug 107 cant get rid of mi volv0 xc90 as need it to pull our caravan, and ideal for throwing kids in and dog so that leaves me with the zed and that isnt always practical, as well, but really like the bmw as it has full spec list m6 spec.... loads of extras , but in 2 minds what to do with mi zed......try keep her, sell her or break her and that's without the brand new race spec engine sat in engine stand ready for fitment, not gonna recoup my money on engine , whats the engine worth,?? it spec list roughtly, weisico pistons/acl bearings/eagle rods/jwt 500 cams/brand new nissan tappets/new waterpump/oilpump/arp bolts allround/cometic h.gaskets/ported polished heads/ mike smith manifolds/jwt sports 650 turbos fully rebuilt with 360 thrusts/3inch divorced down pipes/ new variable valve timing pulleys/ and thats without all the ancilleries chromed/hoses/pulleys lightweigh alloy/etc just dont know wether to fit engine and try it first or sell it new/ suppose am scared i will want to keep it after fitting it lol, dont know what to do any suggestions??? rich

  5. actually i didnt see the thread cancelling my post, i was logged on and left mi lappy cos i had to go out , also seen as there is no email which i though was on my profile has to be a plus point as noone can contact me privately to make me offers ffs!! when did the fun go out of all this and become a business, and i was asking for advice not a full run down of spec list which if i was gonna sell my my stuff it would be in the for sale section, even i know that rule :( and im no fly by night seller as i love my zed and would break my heart to sell it, or break it and have been around and sold stuff over the years without trying to rip anyone off makes this community spirit lean me towards getting rid of zed even more as it wasnt just about owning the car it was also about the guys on the community ill pay me dues just to keep me able to ask question for this year!! but was a genuine oversight missing this payement, oh and as for mods not being able to contact me, my posts are copied to my email address so somebody has my emaill in the mod depth!!!! rant over

  10. to change these bushes is easy if you have oxy bottles just warm arm up and the tap out no problem alloy expands before steel, then clean bore and pull new ones through with threadded bolt and grease ;) rich

  14. i remember when i first got the zed 10 yrs ago and spent 6k on wheels and tyres and imported the veilside c2 kit that was the start of it and ive gone on from there but will say this its been reliable in 10 yrs doing about 5 k each year apart from last 2 years when i got divorced and it had to go in hiding lol even still running on same engine 160000 miles same tubs and been running 1 bar boost from day one , engine tired now though smokes a little but hence the slow rebuild been in progress , now ready to fit this winter :0) get ready

Another hijack Where is the best place to get the flexible oil lines or can I use the existing stock ones also do you know if it needs the banjo with the restrictors I'm using jwt sports 650 tubs rebuilt with 360 degree thrusts so I'm assuming they need stock design oil flow not restricted like ball bearing tubs ??   19. my new tubs actuator has 2 outlets on it , why and whats best way to pipe it up rich
  20. most likely injector connectors poor connection as they get green mould on em rich

  22. look at the thick cable on the seat connector you can work it out which one should be live and earth think its a white wire if i can remember run a 12v cable and earth and power it up rich
  23. cheers steve will do, im not too bad with the AEM learnt a lot mesing about and reading loads from forum in states , just trying to find someone who specialises as there is a lot of bad tuned maps ive loaded loads up to look at em to compare lol rich
  24. looking for a good aem trained rolling road mapper near yorkshire area, someone who is recommended, not some muppet who can just map the fuel , but knows all the ins and out of the AEM set up, for when i have my new engine in next year, I can get it as good as its now but really need it on a dyno . I did have a guys number in mi old phone but lost it:( cant remember who it was think he was foreign?? rich
