  2. I did a code check and all clear , migh have to try a cas unit
  3. mm Mi Zed has decided to run like a camel when cold,if I floor it it misses holds back then pops and jerks nearly breaking mi neck and wont go under full load, light throttle is the only way it will go, did it tonight and yesterday.. I swapped my spare ptu thinking it could be that be still same??? could it be the CAS unit or maybe its a sparkplug breaking down when getting full juice on them cold?? anybody else had this?? cheers richard
  4. to chip ur xbox i get my chips from baldbouncer and you can use the executer2.6 with a solderless socket and all you need then is to flash the bois, which i have a disc which you can use or download it from net cheers richard

  6. I've been in contact with pete for several months about my leather seats he gonna do he seems a genuine guy and sent me samples of the leather which look very good just waiting for the colour I want richard

  9. If you need the tie rod bushes I've got a pair with poly bushes in ready to fit as I've bought rose jointed rods, yours for £40 p&p cheers richard

Having worked for rover main dealers for years and done more headgaskets than I care to remember on the t16 engine, the tomcat engine also suffers from burnt out pistons if abused and if they need replacing(excluding the rebore if needed) you can only buy the pistons with the conrods attached , which cost about175 quid each and thats without the incurable oil leaks,so there is probably not much in both cars,cause the calibre 16v engine also tends to suffer from headgaskets and porous heads /tranfer problems etc.

  14. Whilst on mi travels I called at a scrappys in sheffield and found a silver n/a with rear shunt, full interior cloth/alcanterra manual box jap spec even got targa bags and sun blinds.if anybody needs any parts cheers richard

  20. on the drivers side firewall there is the series off solenoids in the corner hwat is the purpose of them, I know they are lionked to the air pumps in the innr wings which i removed. but they seem to pipe up to the throttle body and to the n/a side of the intake pipe work. I thought off removing them and blanking the vac pipes off. Anybody done it or what is the best way to bypass all that crap. cheers Richard
  21. you can adjust the height with the switches on the clutch pedal, but if your using a uprated clutch they recommend setting pedal higher and push rod adjusted to suit
  22. that thread showed installation and some basic set up , but i'm not sure about other menus and parameters etc.got the duty cycle ok and boost set to 1 bar it was over boosting and engine was cutting out at high revs what does the Ne settings mean it shows scales 2500rpm/3500rpm/4500rpm/5500rpm/6500rpm
