I've come to the conclusion I know more about food than I do cars, so here's my tea for this evening. :D Marinaded the chicken all day, combined it with the other ingredients, and hey presto! Tandoori-style chicken in Korma-style sauce. Mmm... tasty... :smw: Mark

Erm... don't want to worry you but it sounds a bit more serious to me matey- I've heard of similar symptoms which turned out to be the timing belt slipped or the tensioner broken. Deffo get it checked out properly before you drive it again :( Mark

Jay, Good event mate! Cheers for organising it. I'll definitely be recommending Surrey Rolling Road to anyone wanting to do a dyno run locally. Not many 300s that were in 100% state of health though! :( Feared the worst when they cut my engine off and said "it's broken"!!! :headvswal Thought they meant the head gasket had gone or something! So... more investigation to be done, along with everyone else running rich! Good to see the various cars there, that 260 was nice. Gio- it was interesting to see what potential power you have! Going back on-topic for a mo', even if oil does run out it's not the end of the internal combustion engine- we just have to up vegetable oil production as diesels can run on it. And I have to admit Diesels are getting a bit more pokey than they used to be... But in the meantime I'll be burning the Optimax while it lasts! :D

And my mate with the S14 can't make it now. Arg. Dropping like flies!
