Our Z's Verses the environment, Feel guilty??
Hi, As stated above most of the pollution is created when a new car is built, so therefore driving a 17 year old car that is in a good state of repair is a very sensible thing to do! Can't believe that all these new economical diesel cars are good for the enviroment as a few miles down the road they start chucking out loads of black soot and creating diesel slicks! Then there is the noise pollution aspect of a rattly old diesel motor idling in traffic, whereas a 300ZX engine is actually enhancing the enviroment around it!:D

You should see this Transformer
Hi, Of course some of the original Transformers from the 1980's were ZX based too....

If you work for a bank, please ignore LOL
Hi, Last year I taxed my car for 6 months but the teller at the Post Office gave me a tax disc for 12 months!...I noticed straight away but said nothing...unfortunately at the end of the day they noticed the error and phoned my wife to ask me to return the disc for the correct one:(...They had already logged the tax disc as being void on the computer!

Top 10 cars you thought you couldn't afford
Hi, I do love the Diablo, although preferred it without the 300ZX headlights! I prefer the De Tomaso Pantera GTS to the Countach!

What a summer!!
Hi, The weather has been fine here for the last week, there was some rain this morning and on friday, but 20miles down the road it has been dry on both days. Have had the targa roof off a couple of days this past week too! Jez.

Mr R. Sole and his sons
Hi, Had one of the Sole family driving behind me yesterday on the way to work.It was a red Honda Civic Type R lookalike with headlights ablaze in my rear view mirror! I say Type R lookalike, as everytime I put my foot down even slightly, I left him way behind! He would eventually catch up, as I wasn't in a hurry to get to work... and he would then drive about 2 feet from my rear bumper! I finally had enough and pulled into a petrol station forecourt to let him go past, as I really wasn't in the mood and just wanted to cruise to work at a slower pace! Jez.

Now I know why I love my Zed

Stereo fit, ISO & rear amp
Hi, To remove the rear seat squab, just pull it upwards from the front edge, it has two retaining lugs, which pop out of two holes. The seat cushion will then pull forwards and can be taken out. Cheerz, Jez

Now I know why I love my Zed

Billing alternatives
Hi, Looking at the Billing website, the Z Club/300ZX meeting was the only car rally booked for this weekend. So you can understand their reluctance to put us off going! The following weekend is the Land Rover National meeting...so the ground will be chewed up after they've been there!;) Jez.

Two Zeds in Banbury!
Hi, Saw two 300ZXs parked close by on the retail park in Banbury today. One was a stock black UK spec TT and it was extremely dirty!....The other was a graphite grey Jap spec 2+2 NA Auto with aftermarket exhausts. Both drivers were in their '50s or '60s! Cheerz, Jez

Yummie, look what's parked outside my house.
Hi, See Astons everyday, as I drive past the facrory most mornings. A guy at work pulled up in the latest Porsche 911 the other day and all the lads were drooling over it....except me! Would much prefer an Aston Martin if I were in that sort of market. My favourite British car has to be the old Jensen Interceptor though! Cheerz, Jez.

Wanting the black stripe again!!
Hi, I think that the original charcoal strip looks best on the front, especially on white and silver cars! Painting it bodycolour, just makes it look like the car has had a cheap respray done! As Gio says, it makes the car look lower and wider at the front.Must get my Jap square number plate changed for a smaller uk style one.

Anybodys on here??
Hi, Is this the car before?

What's an induction kit.
Hi, That's good advice Jack! Unless you're fitting the filter as part of a package of changes then you won't notice any beneficial difference in performance on an NA.The car may sound louder in an adverse way though! As a bit of bling it may look ok, but on a Z32 it's under the nose panel and can't really be seen anyway! Cheerz, Jez.

Z's dead baby - possible ignition problem?
Hi, So did you sort out the problem Russ? Cheerz, Jez.

what power?
Hi, The NA model was originally 222bhp in USA spec and 230bhp Jap spec when new. The 2 seater NA 222bhp version was originally tested by Car and Driver magazine in the US and the top speed was recorded as 143mph....0-60 in 6.7 secs and 0-100mph in 18.6secs. Cheerz, Jez
