Help with repair of bonnet paintwork
Hi, If it was a lime tree or similar, they do drop a nasty sap which can ruin your paintwork! A bonnet respray should be fairly straightforward to get done though. Cheerz, Jez

New car tax bands from chairman brown
Hi, The higher car tax wont make any difference to owners of new 4X4's and large saloons, as they're mostly funded by Company car allowances. The Companies will just give their executives more allowance to keep them sweet! Cheerz, Jez

Well I bought that Laguna
Hi, I've owned one or two Ren@ults in the past and if the electrics don't go haywire (they did), the engine usually blows it's headgasket!:D Nice and comfy to drive though! Cheerz, Jez.

I think i've had enough
Hi, I had a Z32NA as a daily car back in 2000 and that was expensive to run on a daily basis, plus any repairs had to be done to keep it on the road. They are now old, fairly complex cars, to be used as a daily runner! Nowadays I use my 300ZX only as a weekend/summer car on a classic insurance policy and if it does need money spending I can leave it parked in the garage until I can get it done. Cheerz, Jez.

Thanks to Si
Hi, My rear jspec plate is 330mm x 170mm. I cut out a piece of card the same size as the 3/4 plate to see what it would look like on the front. I think I will order one for the front, as the Jspec mounting plate is quite small and a normal UK plate will be too big. My current plate is square and blocks the airflow. Cheerz, Jez

Thanks to Si
Hi, Have you a photo of the 3/4 size plate on the front? I've been thinking of changing mine and have always used Fancyplates for my number plates too! Cheerz, Jez.

Very Disturbing
Hi, I saw that documentary the other night too. Apparently volcanos produce more CO2 than humans each year!...They reckoned most of the CO2 gasses are emitted from the sea. Solar activity has more effect on our climate than anything else and rises in temperatures are linked to solar wind activity. It was only 30 years ago that they reckoned we were heading for another ice age! I think these things come in cycles and the politicians and the global warming industry scaremonger the public to bleed us of yet more money! Cheerz, Jez

problem fitting rear belts!...
Hi, Finally managed to fit the seatbelts today! Once the upper self tapping screw was in place, the belt reel runs free and locks as it should. The reels are right and left handed, as when I compared the two together, I could see that the locking mechanism was angled differently. Thanks for the advice! Cheerz, Jez.

problem fitting rear belts!...
Hi, Thanks for the help guys.... Well it looks like I'm missing a couples of screws to hold the top of the inertia reels in place. I'll have another look at the weekend and see if it makes any difference. At least I've got the trim drilled for the top mounting and the lower trim ready to reinstall. The other side shouldn't take too long to do, now I know vaguely what I'm doing! ;) Cheerz, Jez
