Hi, Advertise it on http://www.zclub.net for free!
  2. Hi, Most of your guests will be search spiders/'bots from Google, Yahoo, MSN etc. We usually have quite a few at any one time, searching the Z Club site! Cheerz, Jez
  3. Hi, Does look nice in orange...more horsepower from a new engine too! "Offering 309bhp at 6,800rpm, the HR series V6 replaces the old VQ unit. Although it's still 3.5 litres, it's physically bigger and delivers 19bhp and 8Nm more than its predecessor. The result is that it shaves 0.2 seconds off the current Nissan's 0-60mph sprint"
  4. Clarkson used to bew quite good when he wrote for Performance Car back in the 1980's and when he was first on tv, but he's become almost a caricature of himself these days! I used to like the old motoring journalists such as Phil llewellin, George Bishop and LJK Setright who wrote for Car magazine in the '70s and '80's. Mike "Deals on Wheels" Brewer is a good tv journalist who also appreciates the Z car range! Cheerz, Jez

Hi, I nipped along to this meeting in order to collect some parts and only stayed for a quick drink in the pub and left soon after.Virtually every 300ZX owner appeared to be either drinking or eating in the pub, so I can't see what the problem was? The Heart Of England Z (Club)Group have used this venue many times over the years to meet up, though admittedly with a smaller number of cars. I see that they have barriers on the entances to the car park now, so perhaps they've had trouble with local yoofs meeting up there and using the car park for motorised mayhem? I doubt if you'd been driving MGs or the like, you would have had the same response though! Cheerz, Jez.
  6. Hi, The black painted roof bars do look good, especially on the white and silver cars....A reasonably cheap upgrade to make the car look more modern! Think I might get mine done when I get some other paintwork attended to. Cheerz, Jez.
  7. Hi, Every new car on the road seems to have circular or jewelled style rear lights now! The standard style lights are an inherent part of the 300ZX's styling in my opinion. Round lights may look ok on a modified car, but standard cars look better with the stock or 99 spec lights. Stock lights with led bulbs might be nice though! Cheerz, Jez.
  8. Hi, Practical Classics magazine had a Z32 vs Renault Alpine GTA article last year.....
  9. Hi, I had some stock size Fulda Extremos on the front of my old Z32 NA and they seemed fine for grip...wet or dry. Cheerz, Jez
  10. Hi, I've owned a couple of Z31's...... The Turbo Z31 has the same sort of HP as an NA Z32 but the turbo gives it more torque and overtaking kick! To drive, they feel like they were designed 20years before the Z32 model though! Cheerz, Jez
  11. Hi, I have a Nismo gear knob, with an aftermarket leather gaiter.I didn't use the plastic ring from the old gaiter, but cable tied the new gaiter underneath, using the flaps of leather provided. It gives a much snugger fit, and doesn't expose the metal underneath! Cheerz, Jez.
  12. Sticky stuff remover...citrus smell... like oranges!
  13. Hi, Back in 2001, 'Banzai' magazine, featured a Nissan Micra ice racer with a 3.2 litre normally aspirated 427bhp V6 from a Nissan Maxima...Basically a remodelled version of the engine from a z32! Cheerz, Jez
  14. Hi, Try the Z Club classifieds too, as the Z32 wheels look ok on the 300ZX z31 model! Z Club Classifieds Cheerz, Jez
  15. Hi, Mine was leaking from underneath the regulator too.....
  16. Hi, It seems to be showing 246.3 and 260.4 lbft, which is quite a bit more than the official 200lbft!? Jez.
  17. Hi, Use a baseball bat on someone's car and it is criminal damage regardless, but use your car to do the damage and as long as it's off the public highway it's not a criminal offence! Cheerz, Jez.
  18. Hi, I recently had the same fuel smell and tightened all the connectors under the plastic throttle cover. Fuel was spraying up onto the fuel regulator from the joint underneath. Now tightened and no more leak or smell! Jez.
  19. Hi, Am I misreading the charts, or is your NA producing alot of torque? Cheerz, Jez
  20. Hi, If he hit your car on private land, he hasn't committed a criminal offence, as it's a civil matter and the Motor Insurers' Bureau will not be able to reimburse you. The police are powerless, as it's a civil dispute and you're down to relying on the other driver's goodwill!...Or threaten him if he doesn't pay...then you're in the wrong! Failure to report an accident doesn't apply either, as the accident occurred on private land and no one was injured. Car park damage can be a real pig, if the other driver won't co-operate or has disappeared. Luckily the average driver will usually give you their insurance details at the time, as they're unaware that they legally don't have to! Jez.
  21. Hi, If it was a car park on private land you will have no recourse other than to claim off of your own insurance. The other driver doesn't have to give you his details (if you found him) and the Police are powerless to do anything either! Cheerz, Jez.
  22. Yes JDM NA manual and auto the same 230bhp, unless you've got an American left hand drive import 222bhp model...TT manual and auto different due to different turbos etc. US turbo quoted as 300bhp, but probably 280bhp same as Japan...UK TT less, perhaps because of lower octane fuel?
  23. Manufacturer figures when new.... NA... 222bhp US spec lhd 230bhp Jap spec rhd TT... 263bhp UK spec auto 276 bhp UK spec manual 280bhp Euro spec manual 280bhp Jap spec man/auto 300bhp US spec lhd
