  10. I will let you know... It's a short term fix till the weekend when I will do the matrix bypass - then I can await a replacement matrix and fit at my leisure. And do a complete flush/refill (again). It's not the final solution! AndyGP
  11. Mmmmmmmmmm I convinced myself (with your help) that I had two options today - RadSeal - and if that didan't work - the bypass solution - as in buy time until the Heater matrix/core could be changed out - fully expecting to resort to the latter! BINGO - what do you know the old £3.99 radseal from Halfrauds has only gone and fixed it!!!!!!!!!!!! I will wait until the car is completely cold again (tomorrow morning) [to be convinced] but at the mo - it looks fixed! Just thought I would share that... Thanks to all who helped. AndyGP :nana2:
  12. Anyone have one for sale? AndyGP
  13. I made one up from a piece of fuel line - it's the same dimensions - £4.99 from Halfrauds (inc clips) I used the screw clips supplied with the fuel hose cos getting to/removing/replacing the spring clips was a bitch!! Arranging the screw clips so that I could access via a 14" screwdriver was a peach in comparison! My pipe was fractured. Now all I have to do is replacxe the Heater MAtrix!!!! Anyone have a heater matrix for sale? AndyGP
  14. .. or shall I bypass the matrix by joining the inlet/outlet for now and swap out the matrix as and when - what do you think? AndyGP
  15. HelP! Last night car was fine - this morning as the car warmed up (on motorway) car suddenly filled with steam and water was pouring on to my left foot throught the plastic air ducting!! Does this point to the heater matrix? There was no visible leak/steam/water onder bonnet! Front and rear heater hoses were recently replaced. AndyGP
  16. No its on the side of the engine block - I have changed the rear heater inlet and outlet previously - I can now actually see water coming out of this water pipe - something I consider progress  It looks like I may have to remove the brake servo to get to it! AndyGP
  17. That's probably me maatey (in the red beast). I promise to wave next time :p AndyGP
  18. I have a leak from a short black hose 1cm wide on the drivers side of the engine on the side of the block situated under the Brake servo almost. Its about 5" long - just secured with spring clips - bugger to get to... Any ideas what this pipe is/does guys? AndyGP :nana2:
  19. I have since discovered that water is coming in to the car - above where the clutch pedel would be if I had one (AT) !!! And this is pretty much directly below where the drivers side heater (water inlet) pipe is right? So I am feeling confident that we have tracked it down! If anyone can confirm/advise that would be great! I hope it doeasan't mean the heater matrix is leaking - that would be on the passenger side right?! Thanks guys. AndyGP
  20. OK - I have had a water leak (Not radiator) for about a week, its not a big leak - I lose about a pint every 24 hours! I have replaced the two front engine short water pipes, the thermostat, the radiator cap and I have two more pipes to fit in the current kit - Water Hose Outlet, and Water Hose Inlet! 92410-30P00 92400-30P00 Dont laugh... I CANT SEEM TO FIND THEM????? I assume they are attached to the heater matrix somewhere but have no idea..... Any heads-up appreciated! Also today for the first time I actually seem some water drip from my car - but right down underneath just under the drivers door handle almost! I jacked her up and it seems the water may be running down the chassis member/rail and dripping out at the lowest point -s a clue to the source??? Cheers guys (and girl) :smash: AndyGP
  21. Hi guys, I need the part numbers for the water/engine temp sensors on the front water pipe. The ECU Water Temp Sensor and Dashboard Gauge Water temp Sensor One Yello - One Black - I have conflicting numbers.. 1990 Jap import TT Many thanks. Andy :headvswal
  22. Hi Does anyone know the thread/dimensions of the allen/button SS head bolts used on the Sparco/Momo steering wheel Hub kit? I am thinking 0.8 thread Number M5 bolt - not sure though! I need longer ones than provided with my kit - DOH! :smash: Many thanks in advance. AndyGP :p
  23. ... Is there any? What I mean is - is there a physical linkage on the oputside of the auto (TT) box that translates the shifter action to a gear selection? Or is it all internal? Being a lazy ass - I could just look under ny car - but it's wet n cold out there... Cheers guys AndyGP
  24. Hi, Does anyone know of, or supply to me a Optima Red Top Battery? I believe I am looking for: Battery Model: 34/78 Part Number: 8004-003 Nominal Voltage: 12 volts NSN: 6140-01-457-4339 £149.00 at a Car Audio supplier Cheers AndyGP :hyper:
