Amazing insn't it, not content with the failure of congestion charging , speed cameras, toll roads, and increasing restricted parking areas and fuel cost hikes to force the motorist off the road, now they attempt to use MOT laws to harrass law abiding folks by interrupting there lawful persuits and travel along the highway. Not content with the revenue from road tax and fuel duty ,parking and speeding fines, this is just another attempt by the government to infringe our civil liberties and raise more lucre for there coffers. Hypocrites, happy to encourage the use of cars on one hand but then stab us in the back when weve got one. Blimey Dick Turpin must have been an angel by comparison.

Interesting, my brother had to remove the tints on his yank truck because of this, and they were a legal tint, but he thought better safe than sorry. The folks of the 200sx club thought I was talking b0llocks when I mentioned this , shows how wrong they were. To be honest its just another petty reason to intimidate and hound the motorist, I wonder if the cop wearing the sunglasses had been driving the copcar ? They seem to be excluded from laws regarding mobile phones whilst driving . However a funny situation happened when I was on my way to work, when a Gold Fusion came off a slip road and carved up a blue Beemer, when the beemer blew its horn the fusion driver stopped his car and got out , then stood glaring at the beemer , the beemer blew the horn again, the fusion fella stayed put, and was then confronted by the high ranking copper who got out of the beemer and proceeded to get his book out. lmfao. But its the silly pre-pubescent twats who run 'cruises' and subscribe to First Car and other such mags who cause anti-modding laws to be brought in by thier stupid behaviour which tars everyione with the same brush. It would pi55 me off if someone was out revving the nuts of some silly little stolen hatchback at 2am just to impress some jailbait. Hats off to anyone who does the job properly,spends time and effort in customising cars to thier own taste, but there are too many idiots out there that do nothing to enhance the image of legitimate modifieds/altered cars.

Yep Thats Richie Beaumonts car alright , evidently a little rust under the sills, car goes down as jack goes up. Norris designs car - v.quick, but 25k for an old s13 however modified is too much.

Put a JWT charger on mine at the weekend, car runs very well , more response, seems to have cured the stalling problem as well. which is wierd. No complaints here though.

Ditto Andy Duff, Very much depends on terms and conditions, March 2003 is over a year ago , most parts have a 12 month warranty, if it is a part failure and not due to the gearbox R&I, which would be difficult to prove & outside terms and conditions then you are reliant on goodwill. And thats up to either the manufacturer or the supplier/fitter. Good luck. (if the company want to get more business then recommendation is the best way such as a good result posted on a forum where it counts.) Then again they might have enough business to turn you down flat, so be prepared.

Anyone do a decent set of decat pipes for a 1990 UK tt, 2nd what is the most reasonable cat back exhaust in your opinions for nice sound and decent performance. Want something with a nice low rpm burble , that howls at higher rpm.

try changing the plugs - thats what cured mine.

Actually turned out to be a very good day, wife and kids came along, my boy was impressed mucho by the jet car, and all the shiny bling things. However the m25 was a nightmare and delayed our arrival by 2 hrs, still car was running really well, my missfire totally gone after I changed the fuel filter and plugs on Saturday afternoon. To late to run it up the track, maybe next time. :cool: :cool: :D

This might be the wrong place to put this, but as I work in the Motor Trade I can get these cool silicone bladed car cleaning things , the things that let you remove water from the bodywork after washing, for £7 each , I got five of them in case any one here wanted to take advantage. Ill have them up at Santa Pod on the 10th so come and see me. :D . I may be able to get more of them if theres any intrest, BTW I will not be making profit on these which is why Ive posted here.

Thats why its better to get some money from folks up front and do a combined order , share the cost of postage. You know it makes sense, they have some good deals at the mo , strut braces, underdrive pulleys, hot cams,etc. Either that or take a holiday for a few days and fly over and get them.

Do we have a site map yet to show where the club parking area is? The weather is supposed to be clearing up as the week goes on. ;)

Twinpier, red tt with chromy/polished rims, possibly seen coming in to Croydon about 5.45 one evening. ( was in my 200 at the time) some few weeks ago.
