  2. having trouble deciding, what do people think?
  3. since joining the club some years ago, i have been disapointed that we don't advertise our club at the regonal shows we go to. the only time i've seen a 300zx banner at a show was 2 years ago at Buelieu (or however it's spelt). as Legrath said nearly every other club has some sort of banner at all these events. from a brief discusion with Legrath on the day i got the impresion that the comitee wanted to keep the banners for the big national shows and make sure they didn't get lost by posting them off all round the country (which i totally understand) rather than our rather late notice of the requirement. how about havimg a couple of big ones the committee keep for national events and a number of smaller ones that the REOs keep? I'm happy to look into prices too as we use quite a lot of banners at work what is on the curent banners? is it as the top left of this site? is there some high quality artwork available if i managed to blag some bannerage?
  4. ok, here's one to be going on with: .
  5. lots of pictures including yours tommorow, when i go to work, much faster to upload from there. thanks for a great day :)
  6. having a blond moment...... where the temperature and pressure sensors have 2 wires (signal and ground) the drawing that came with the sensors show 2 wires running from the sensor to the gauge. is there any reason why i can't just run the signal cable and ground the sensor to the chasis in the engine bay and the gauge inside the car?
  7. technical manager in a student union night club. looking after the venue, health and safety, and sound and lighting equipment for the club and corperate events for the university, and any one elses events that want to hire us (such as festivals) long hours for not much thanks, but they pay me to be an eternal student that doesnt have to do coursework :)
  8. not to fussed about mine as it is on a number of open web sites as it is my work phone, will prob delete it soon anyway so pm if you missed it and care or get it from Murt's post quoting my post :p

  12. i know nickz32 is wanting to get hold of a club banner for the south central meet the following weekend: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=109104 If you do get hold of it in time for saturday, i could, if people want, take it from there to the sc meet the next weekend then up to Z008 as i'm going to all 3 events
  13. anyone going the other way, ie west along M4? what time do we need to be there?
  14. had it playing tonight, liking it , i'd buy a cd
  15. thats because there is meant to be a ground wire bolted to the back of the headunit and pluged into a spade crimp on the chasis behind the head unit, as i think at least some of them came with no ground wire in the wiring loom
  16. yes any car stereo shop or even halfrauds should sell the adapter, it is quite bulky as it goes from 1 nissan plug to 2 standard plugs, i know you wanted to keep cable to a minimum so you may be better off cutting off the stock plug and wiring a new one on. as for the dual ariel function, it is no use unless you have a diversity reciever like the stock headunits (i've never seen one) so i just cut out the thinner wire. just joining the 2 cables together could easily make your reception worse rather than better.
  17. i've got those, think theyre great :)

  19. it was surrey rolling road me and Andy and a load of others went to, i got 269fwhp at between 0.5 and 0.6 bar on a stock '91 tt (overfueling off the graph!) which was about the hp i expected so maybe their boost measurement was off
  20. so what is stock boost then? i was getting between 0.5 and 0.6 bar
  21. can't tell much from thee photos, how many connectors you trying to identify. 2 white ones of same size but with latches in different places - one is speaker wires, other is power, ground, antena power etc is the (what looks like) big white conector with 2 blue bits and one green bit, top centre of your photo something you are trying to identify? reminds me of something i've seen before where the zed had a CD changer controller in the centre console arm rest cubyhole
  22. way too busy at work at the moment, looking at about an 80 hour week this week :(
  23. in theory by fitting supresion components such as inductors to the supply or feeding wires through ferite cores. in practice, if i could fix mine i would be a happy man :)
