  1. dont bother with the rear evo brembo I believe the piston is slightly smaller than the 300's standard caliper piston, fronts are good though
  2. excellent work, can we have the rest of the pics now please :D
  3. I would be investigating the rust issues further, I doubt it will only be the sill that has gone
  4. Does it smoke when you have your foot planted or when you lift off, could be pcv valves/breathers, worn valve stem seals and lots of other things
  5. I got my last engine for free as the seller could not get rid of it :D, previous 2 were from winter casualties
  6. If you do it your self you may as well change the water pump too, you would kick your self later if it went
  7. I got a set for £120 with half worn pads, didn't think that was too bad.
  8. How much of an improvement are the evo brembo's compared to stock ?
  9. I need bigger injectors and was planning on going down the following route DeatschWerks adapters to fit later style injectors as nismo one's for original rail are silly money, bigger injectors, and as the standard fuel rail struggles to get fuel to the last injectors I was thinking of splitting the rail running 2 feeds 2 fpr's, cant find any info if any one has run the standard rail as separate sides Thoughts ?
  10. 320-340kg for the engine and box combined, cant remember exactly, its coming out again soon I could weigh it again if you need exact weights
  11. follow the cable back from the valve block to the control unit
  12. Lifting the car off the engine is the easiest way to do it if you can, had mine out a few times now and lifting the car up leaving the engine and box was by far the one needing the least amount of effort
  13. dont know about best but andrew page can supply replacements with correct plugs
  14. Can be a pain to bleed, when the engine is running the servo assist will reduce peddle pressure so if you have air in it you will have a very light clutch, I let mine stand for half an hour after trying to bleed it, pedal was hardly moving slave cylinder when I went back the air had settled and came straight out.
  15. Is it missing to the extent that removing coil packs from plugs makes no differance
  16. Where is the best place to order exhaust manifold gaskets manifold to head not turbo, best as will stock them, rang a few places but no luck on any one getting back to me, may have to be Mr Nissan

Only when its fitted in the wrong car :D Where you been hiding ?, car looks good
  18. These are for sale for the TT, I have one at the moment for testing purposes, so far its not looking too good, they are cheap look cheap and feel cheap, the measurement set up is different to the oem Nissan unit, we had a dual set up and a data stream recording which showed the new cheap item to spike wildly with a very uneven reading and it hit max airflow a couple of times on an engine running no more than 350, conclusion so far not impressed and at this stage would not trust one on my engine, still more tests to do though.
  19. As has been mentioned unless you can get a pair of proper skyline N1 turbo's its not worth the bother
  20. Ashley is a mackam in disguise :wack:
  21. Second hand turbo's are a big gamble, what's the problem with them, smoke or irreparable damage ?
  22. Good luck it's about time you had some
  23. The tank was doing exactly what it was supposed to do, dont think about it any more or it will break for sure
  24. Does any one have a spare top radiator hose for a TT (THE SHORT ONE) that they could fetch to JAE, Mine split tonight, I have butchered a spare bit of hose as a bodge but I don't know if it will stand up to a trip there and back, would be nice to have a backup plan for the return trip. Will try Nissan tomorrow but not likely they will have one in stock. Mods please move delete if this is out of order in anyway
