get an after market one mate, easy peasey to plug in and is much better, i sh*t myselp the first time i went out in mine with my new guage, pressure was all over the place, reads like my rev counter, just a few sec's behind!

did mine this week,the original sender is on the other side of the engine near the oil feed for the turbo, remove that and fit your new one there, you cant miss it and its dead easy with loads more access (although do not do what i did and try to plug the old lead back on as well as this will stop both from working!) I was going to use and sandwich plate but i already have one fitted for my oil cooler so couldn't use it! In selling it if you are interested?

Just fitted oil pressure, oil temp and Boost guages today, my water one works ok, but i have one to fit anyway, just not sure where to put it!

just fitted a oil pressure guage and at idle it sits at about 30psi... but when i boot it it swings right upto 80 ish! is this normal?

sounds like they are just worried about the competition! would be interesting to see it top gear or someone in the UK crashed one and recorded the results, if its that bad theni would stay away but at the bottom it says it has passes other tests in Germany, and "The tested vehicle did not have standard reinforcements that increase the strength of the front chassis. The manufactures have added the reinforcements to market their cars in Europe." Will have to see, but with this F*****g country we will be taxed ETC and end up paying £15000 anyway!

Yep its the earth, just fitted a new sterio to mine today (or yesterday as it is now) and spent 3 hours playing with wires till i checked the earth, and hay presto!

Ok, here are the settings from my Profec B spec 2, to achieve 9psi in LO and 14psi in HI, on stock turbos:- LO:- SET=16%, GAIN=18%, SETGAIN=48, WARNING=110 with a drop of 20% HI:- SET=33%, GAIN=21%, SETGAIN=85, WARNING=155 with a drop of 20% The boost signal is tee'd in from the right hand side of the plenum balance tube. Also I have a dual friction clutch which seems to be able to handle it. pinched it off another thread

if you have seen a turbo it will be twin, the fairlady id just the Jap name for 300zx, there are subtle differences, do a search on it for more info. Failady= Jap 300zx= Uk/USA Turbo= will be twin Twin Turbo= Does what it says on the tin :D or you can get a Non Turbo (or n/a = normaly aspirated) all available with auto or manual and just to confuse you a little bit more you can get a Short wheel base that has no back seats! best combination? Fairlady, twin turbo, Short wheel base, in black! ;) IMO or course

Im on this thing called QRA on base so cant leave for a week! she's on axel stands at the front at the moment, have you got any pics of ur presure sender fitted? (bit of a long shot i know!)
