I have a Jap import TT. I have noticed that the oil pressure has read very low ever since I bought the car a couple of months ago. I know that Zeds have a habit of suffering from dodgy senders, but the readings on my car don't seem to fluctuate, they just stay low all the time, which worries me.
The stock gauge in my car reads 0-7. On a cold start, the pressure reads just 4 and it only goes down from there. Whilst at traffic lights and warm, it stablizes at about 1. On the motorway it sits at about 3.5, which is the highest it ever reaches apart from when stone cold.
I have changed the oil to Mobil 1 fully synthetic and there has been no difference at all. Am I in trouble????
