  1. i still love it! :) Although im falling in love with my cerbera more and more, and so far haven't had any problems! Will be back in the land of Z at some point though Got loads of geeky photo's done at work
  2. http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/322409.htm time to remortgage the house i think!
  3. well im 25 with 2 years no claims and i live in dundee and insurance was only £750!! cheaper then my Z
  4. I use autoglym, does a good job on all the cars i have had
  5. well iv had it for just over a week & done over 1500 miles with no problems yet, its the 4.5 so stupidly fast in this weather, i put £60 in driving home & got 330 miles!! amazing! although that was on a long run, but my z would never have done that. Ill keep you all posted if/when it breaks, although i have a 1 year warranty
  6. Well after over 6 years of owning Z's i have noved to the somewhat scary land of TVR, i dare say i will be back with you all in a year or so, but always facied a Cerbera! Cheers for all the help over the years! :D
  7. i had a word with a local garage, borrowed there pit for about 1 hour when they were on lunch, cost £10 and i changed my oil and filter at the same time.
  8. Nice wheels... get some t-cut on that and she will be as good as new :x: :D
  9. disconect the battey and pump the brakes a few times... wait a few mins.. this clears the codes
  10. I'v had both, and it differs from cars to car for me.... some bodykits, wheels etc suit the SWB, some other the LWB (bit of a crap answer i know) But money wise the SWB sell for more, when i get my next (my 3rd!) i wont mind if its LWB or SWB
  11. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=68634&highlight=Plenum+Polishing should keep you reading for a while :D
  12. http://www.caswellplating.com/buffs/buffman.htm
  13. think you need a polishing stone with wax blocks (look like soap) and keep doing it till its shiny! Although I'm probably wrong and talking total rubbish... but that's how i remember it :nelson:
  14. Thats a good price seeing as Nissan charge £25 per bulb.... yep £25  was so pissed off but needed it to pass the MOT and halfauds didn't do them so didn't have much choice as i neeed them for the re-test.
  15. I have to say i like the doors as well, i dont like the ones that only go 45', but they look nice. I have to say the rear spoiler totally ruins it for me though, remove that, some 99 spec rear lights and a smoother front end..... and she would be lovely, as Shunter said, its personal taste!
  16. i removed mine myself, left about 4 holes that i had welded up and sprayed, it looks 100 times better, you need a perspex cover above the tail lamps, you can get them with or without brake lights from the Z centre
  17. and i know im cheating, but i love this pic of my old Z (i know the paint wasn't to everyones taste!)
  18. Cars with full service history are generally owned by people with no mechanical knowledge, and as such can be a worse purchase than from someone who is a car enthusiast and does all there own work. Service history honestly means nothing, i put my truck in for its MOT last month and it failed on having a chassis mount totally fooked (bloke says it was very dangerous) and it had been serviced by Nissan (its a Navara D22) a month before and been given all green ticks in the chassis checks! :smash: Id rather buy a car from someone who i could talk shop to and could tell me about all the things he has done, how often etc, rather than looking at a book with some ink stamps :nono:
  19. That's gorgeous, never seen that before & now prob one of my faves! top find, i love those rims. I have to say having had a SWB and a LWB for my next i would go for a LWB. Does anyone know what the one at the start of my post is? any pics from the filler side that are closer?
  20. also worth pulling all your spark plugs for a look... you never know
