i have tried messing with most of the settings, and dropped the gain right down but im still getting a spike! tried droping most things down and raising the set above 33 and still get a spike! the reason i didnt just fit boost jets was because i didnt want spikes! is anyone having the same problems?

i have a greedy profec b 2 boost controller but when i set it to hi i get a boost spike to about 16 psi and then it drops to about 14.5, how do i cure this? i want to run about 15.5-16 psi with no spike the settings im using at the moment are set = 33 Gain = 21 set gain = 85 warning = 165 drop = 20 cheers in advance!

i had this happen to me as well when i was trying to sell my big alloy spoiler off my Z, got loads of abuse and people telling me to put it on a nova etc, never had a prob with the forum before and its one of the best i have been on, but that did fook me off quite a bit! :rant:

dont think so mate, most people use boost jets or electronic. Iv got the proffec bII and its ace and you can get the matching turbo timer for that as well, get hold of chris and he will sort you out :)

i 2nd that, can some one put up some pics of an engine with some nice big primary school arrows pointing to the bits i need to clean? as mine has been running a bit crap the past few months!

some good points there guys, spot on, think i may go for 555cc then if it will cost silly money to get a chip mapped etc as i prob would never use them to there full, how much (ball park) BHP can you get out of 555cc? although the fuel pump thing is intersting, does MAC know? i know he is having probs with fueling as he is just about to fit a 2nd pump! :bow:

after a good run when i "blip" the go-go peddle i get quite a load banging and poping, like a rally car when it changes down etc, is this ok? i think it shoud be but dont want the engine to start making the same noise!

I have a blitz ecu fitted at the mo, but im running about 15psi and looking to fit bigger injectors and FMIC etc etc next year, anyone got any ideas how i can tune my ECU to work with this stuff or do i need to rip the chip out and change it? seems a shame as im sure it must be worth a bob or 2!
