  1. dont supose you got some photo's while doing it did you mate? looking at fitting some bigger tubs myself sometime and would prob do it myself
  2. R.i.p :(
  3. Replaced my front indicators with some nice shiny "crystal" ones, but now my fog lights look crap! and dont fit with the rest of the car... does anyone know of anywhere i can get some crystal look ones? or is it just "one of those things"?
  4. Used to let the air come out of the oil, you can get cetrifugal ones that spin the oil to remove the air, but only seen them on racing cars and jet aircraft! not sure they really do a lot as the air will still come out in the sump, more for looks than purpose
  5. ohh and any temp and pressure guage will work! so dont just look for ones that fit the Z, look on e-bay and you will find 1000000s!
  6. wont work with ur standard guage mate as that is a +v sender and most (if not all) after market ones are -v dont ask me why! spend a few hours trying to work it out myself! i got a whole bunch of guages from e-bay, but chris has a good rep on hear and you will get a lot of back up and help from him. if you dont want to remove your old sender then you can get a sandwich plate that fits inbetween ur engine and oil filter, it has 4 holes that you can plug oil pressure and temp senders into (would recomend oil temp as its handy and if you going to do one may as well do the other) Hope this helps
  7. best to look on e-bay.. or ask chris, i got oil pressure and temp, boost and water temp all for £140 with all the stuff to fit (oil temp is very handy as you can tell when its ok to boot it) i have a sandwich plate that may be handy, i got one but already had a greedy one fitted for my oil cooler (didnt find that out till it was in the air!) cost me £30 so you can have it for that if you want? or just remove the old pressure sender on the pass side of the engine and fit the temp sender above the oil filter. If you want to meet up some time this week or next let me know and i can try and help :D
  8. i had those settings mate and was getting quite a big boost spike, mine is in psi but i have my hiset at about 37 with my gain only at 7! still get a bit of a spike but cant seem to get rid of it! i get about 14.5-15 psi. the rest of my settings are the same as yours.... let me know how you get on..... cause if you don't get a spike then my solenoid may be faulty!
  9. the sender is located on the opp side of the engine near the turbo oil feed, bee a lot cheaper to get an after market one as they are better and are an easy mod as you just wip the old sender out and fit the new one! did mine just before crimbo

  13. i tried green stuff pads and thought they where crap, went back to oem and think they are much better, not tried much else though so all in my limited experience! and i also have G force grooved disks which helps :D
  14. Well just as soon as i thought everything was sorted, i filled my nos bottle up and had a play today and the clutch has started to slip! :( its a new-ish AP racing clutch (only a few 1000 on it) now im hoping it just needs adjusting! its been a few years since i last did that on my Z... so does anyone have the link or info on what way to turn the shaft under the pedal? as i have forgotten! and has anyone got any other ideas as to what it could be if this doesn't sort it!?
  15. I think it looks lovely, one of the nicest iv seen inside and out, not sure about some of there other cars though, that supra is well OTT!

  17. Yep that looks just like mine!
  18. would have to agree with you there mate :o i think with a good set of deep dish rims and if you snapped the front bit off it would be ace after a bit of fine tuning! all in my opinion of course although i think the rear is just a bit to big... and ditch the spoiler
