300zx not in movies
You could possibly say the same about the Mitsubishi GTO.. It never really gets much said about it anymore, but I am a strong believer in that if the 300ZX makes an appearance or gets a good role in a movie like F&F, prices will go up - or the cheap examples which are available will be exploited by boy racers lol.. Another thing I just thought of, are the Supras and Skylines only more tunable because the engine bays are easier to work around i.e. More accessible than the 300zx bay.. which looks like everything has been shoe-horned in.. or is the 300zx (VG)engine.. just not as good (tunable) as the 2JZ and RB26? Hope some of you may like this video anyways, this thread sort of reminded me of an old jap film.. Shuto Kousoku (Freeway Speedway)

Good Bodyshop in East Anglia
I agree with that, some of their work I have seen is great, and although not technically body work, Ants Engine bay which they done was Superb

ebay joker
Essentially when you have enough positive feedbacks (over 100) .. Depending on the type of sh1tbag you are, you could start ripping people off, and it wouldn't have much of an affect on your feedback percentage, and as the average everyday seller would just check the previous feedbacks before that 1 bad incident, which were all technically scams to get a higher percentage anyways, they would just let that 1 bad incident slide.. It is a good spot Indian ZX, and I hope ebay does something about this.. and to be honest, it doesn't surprise me if you look at the item location.. In a totally non-racist way, but merely on a legal stance, that part of the world is booming with fraudulent activity...This kind of sh1t really irritates me, thank god the image wasn't a ZX though :hang: lol..

newbie to be
Hi Lexx, I've seen you at a few JNE meets / Nissan sunderland.. Your 350Z is lovely. Shame you have to get rid, but essentially you will be buying the better Z :) As for looking for one at the moment, make sure you decide 100% on what you want, whether it be UK/Import, Manual/Auto, LWB/SWB.. As you are also probably aware there isn't really many great ones for sale right now, but you're doing the right thing by checking the forum first :) just be patient and the right one will eventually turn up.. I'll keep my eyes peeled for you and send you a message when I see anything that looks decent too mate. André

spot the mistake here....??? lol
Hmm.. from what I can work out...just sounds like it doesnt work through a regular tv aerial, which is probably cos of the digital switchover? but he says it doesnt have (digital) freeview on it, which is alarm bells straight away and says it works through scart....which is what digital tv (freeview) is lol.. .. either way it's a very confusing explanation. I'm trying to work it out now as it's late.. I think he is trying to say; "It doesn't have digital tv but it has digital when plugged in through scart" - Which is what a freeview box is... haha arghh i'm tired :-/

Engine bay BLING!
Hi Guys, I'm hoping this thread will be useful to not only myself but anyone who is interested in Blingin' out there Bay! Basically, I would like help in putting together a list of parts which can be taken out of the engine bay and sent off for chroming. Sort of like a checklist/guide, but also to appease my curiosity too lol. So if anyone could be so kind to state what engine bay parts can be chromed, I would greatly appreciate it :) Thanks - Also, I will update my post and edit in here (post #1) in alphabetical order the parts below. (I'll put stainless items beneath) Cheers! Chromed Accessory Bracket R/H Balance Tube Crank Angle Bracket Cruise Control Bracket Fuel line Idle Air Control Tube Plenum Power Steering Pot Radiator Water Pipes Strut Bar Throttle Cover Stainless Steel Coil Pack Bolts Fuel Lines Fuse Box Covers Intercooler Hardpipes Koyo Radiator Bracket Lower & Upper Radiator Pipes

My rebuild
Timing belt top cover is good :) I think you should defo go Orange for the Plenum cover - maybe you could have black accented lettering? whichever you decide though, it's gonna look lush :) .. About the belt, I was just concered as there was a post about timing belts a while back, and I just hope the belt is upto it, as has been said from JeffTT, that people can fall for the aftermarket hype and the teeth not lining up properly e.t.c.. Would be a shame to ruin such a beaut of an engine.

My rebuild
This looks great, excellent stuff Ant :) Is the Plenum & Cam Cover going to be painted too? - and why did you go for the Greddy timing belt?

May make inteteresting reading for some of you, changes to the zed throughout 6 years
I have seen this before, and to be honest it just looks like they were making them cheaper/taking bits off them over the years... :( But they still had a lengthy production run, especially in japan. :)

Removal of Rear Lights
I think i'm going to do a combination of heating/using the hair-dryer, using a scraper and tapping them out.. I think it might have just been the fact the car was frozen with the recent poor weather but it was ridiculous how tough they are stuck in place.. The advice is greatly appreciated though guys! Thanks again. André

Removal of Rear Lights
Okay I may try that Gary thanks, I think it may be with the weather the way it is, they are frozen solid... So I presume it is just a sticky seal that goes around them which is stuck?
