Must admit, we did think of that. Knew it wasnt a bite by a bigger cat cause there was no puncture wounds, and he has no fear of cars, as you may have already guessed by the pics. What gave it away was the piece of shoelace that the vet found in the X-Ray as the poor sod swallowed a bit !! :rant: Getting mad thinking about it again ! A few of the local neighbours have cats as well, in fact there are more cats than dogs in our street ! He is just too friendly I think. If he thinks he is gonna get a cuddle, he`s in there ! His favourite place is on the bonnet, right after you have parked it up ! Not even a growling V8 underneath his ass moves him, even when its moving !! Alan

As you draw into a petrol station in an unfamiliar car, ie, hired, borrowed etc Have you ever thought, What side is the filler cap on ?? Have a swatch at this !!! From an E-mail i Received: I have been driving (legally) for over a decade. One would think I would have noticed the little secret on my dash that was staring me right in the face the whole time. I didn't and I bet you probably haven't either. Quick question, what side of your car is your petrol tank? If you are anything like me, you probably can't remember right away. My solution is to uncomfortably stick my head out the window, strain my neck and look. If you don't do this in your own car you definetly have done it in a borrowed or rental car. Well ladies and gentlemen, I'm going to share with you my little secret so you will no longer look like Ace Ventura on your way to the petrol station, or put your neck at risk of uncomfort or injury. If you look at your petrol guage, you will see a small icon of a petrol pump. The handle of the petrol pump will extend out on either the left or right side of the pump. If your tank is on the left, the handle will be on the left. If your tank is on the right, the handle will be on the right (see photo below). It is that simple! I don't know how you feel right now but when I found out this morning I felt cheated! Why don't the dealers share such importnant information with car buyers? I don't understand why this isn't in the drivers ed manual? I don't get why any mechanic I have ever been too or know has even thought of mentioning this to me? The only possible explantion can be that all these people probably don't even know! Go out and share the worlds best kept auto secret with your friends as this is information is way too important to be kept secret.

As a rough guide buddy, expect around 200 miles from a tank of gas !! More if you are carefull on the motorway, or less if you have a heavy right foot !! And with these cars, its hard not too !! A well cared for UK manual is probably the prefered choice, but hard to come by. I prefer Auto myself, but its down to personal choice. Best advice I can offer is drive the two and see what you think. The auto is under rated in my opinion, and most people with that opinion are actually wary of it !! Amatuers !! Alan..........
