  2. ello bud hows you? not been on much of late, firstly on 56k dial up until next week :mac1: , and secondly cant be arsed :D drop us a PM with your number and il call you ;)
  3. check the vacuem side of the FPR possible internal fault if it pees out of fuel then you will know it , but sounds like unburnt fuel on a big scale, if left untreted your engine may get damaged due to bore wash, also when you fix problem replace the oil and filter otherwise you may cause engine problems
  4. check what cylinder its missng on! easy test pull a coilpack connector of one at a time, when you do so the engine note should drop off, try to stall! you will find the culprit cylinder/s when the engine note remains the same you have found the cylinder at fault possible symtoms are coil pack connector fouled/faulty coil pack spark plug injector connector fouled/faulty injector o-ring failed or injector itself ptu compression simple test would be to find culprit cylinder and fit a spare coilpack and new spark plug externally to cylider make contact to the plenum with spark plug and check for spark! if spark is present... then you need to check coilpack, spark plug first if there fine check injector connector clean/replace refit and go through the common list untl you find fault and fix
  5. i think the conversion was around 8hours neil ;) not bad going eh old boy, considering it was on axle stands rofl and the tea lady kept bringing tea and bacon rolls out LMAO hard life
  6. you could risk doing the bearing/s in situ allow a days labour and a few quid for a bearing or 2. someone will be willing to do it. And its not greatly difficult to tackle yourself, although you will need an engine hoist to hold engine whilst you lower crossmember if you want a how to email me at greg300zx@hotmail.com
  7. The problem is as you have said ^^ people replace a bearing or 2 from underside of car with sump off, refit and within 100miles or less it can go again, as there may be some damage to the crank, ideally your looking at engine out bottom end stripped, crank measured and possibly re-ground, main/big end bearings, gaskets etc, you then have to think why did the bearing/s fail in the first place oil starvation. oil pump, clogged oil feed, IMO i would do the following if it was me! engine removal crank checked reground if needed big and main end bearings oil pump rear oil seal front oil seal cambelt, tensioner, waterpump, thermo, relevant gaskets to bottom end good time to change the turbos, oil feeds :o bearings can be got from mjp on here, or if someones doing the work, there better of ordering relavant parts same time check traders section on here for your nearest garage :) cheers greg
  8. the wipers wipe twice when you turn them off! tweed! auto transmissions shite series 1 heating controls series 2 much nicer ;) crappy foam spoiler heavy tailgate seatbelts on doors series 1 import poor OEM headlight brightness poor engine venting= brittle loom's i do love these cars :), majority of the above never applied to me as i had a manual series 2, just niggles that can be improved, should of been improved were improved.
  9. you may aswell use an NA one anyway bud, yours is an NA ;) Benefits free up some FWHP and due to the less ethergy on the crank you will free up the revs, basically make it more revier :) always a good thing downside, not really a downside some people notice it takes a few more revs to pull away, nissan designed the flywheel the weight they did for a reason, but i still think its a good mod.
  10. i thought the internals are the same :p just the bellhousing thats slightly differant
  11. £15 cant be to bad dude, i seen someone on the sxoc pay £50 each injector ouch he will be glad it was a 4-pot :)
  12. fook limewire it kills pc's use something like wozzer has said ;)
  13. red stuff give me nightmares gaz :slap: :D ferroda ds pads are the mutts, good from cold, awesome when up to temp, low dust, dont last forever though :o and normally they retail fro around £120 a font set hawk hps are awesome aswell, good cold bite, again even better when up to temp, very low dust, hardly any! again dont last forever, but TBH what will when its trying to stop 1600kgs  cheaper alternative to ferrodo but as your getting them at £50 thats a bargain bud.
  14. if the ajustment doesnt help, then i hope you checked the flywheel or had it skimmed, otherwise any ridges lips on the surface will eat a clutch like the cookie monster eats cookies LOL

you can still use NA heads, just a bit restrictave and major porting is required to even get a match of a TT head for a true TT conversion you would use a TT block and pistons more suited to running higher boost. but your right the exhaust valves are stronger on a TT made of iconel i think
  16. iv done around 5 now piddly bit is like old z has said is running the booster and pedal also the standard pipework is fiddly to run down the bulk head, so a custom braided hose with male/male m10 1mm pitch connectors each end to fit slave-master cylinder is the best way forward, and am doing to same on my s14a at the moment ;) as chris has said^ engine out is even easier :) but abelt drastic to do a manual conversion LOL
  17. the had to carry the car in parts to the skip as it fell apart with filler ;)

iv carried out a complete NA-TT conversion, and to be honest buy one from the start, you can just fit a set of Turbos, manifolds, intercooler/pipework upper water feeds, lower oil block feed and sump, and then run low boost/high compression, run without wastegate solenoids and fit a boost controller. Will still be quick due to the compression ratio. but limited on injectors, fuel pump, internals
  19. speak to jimmer on here, hes well clued up to helicoiling and re-threading, there is also a better tool to use than ahelicoil type you sure someone has not fitted the one of the longer headbolts into the the smaller hole? and come on if a turbo failed id understand but friggin ell chin up bud:p
  20. well get cover out with AA or RAC then break down, they will then tow you to any destination cost around £80 for a decet cover, job done!
  21. ;) In a non biast way of thinking wigan should of not had a penalty. To me he went over to easy? the referee was well :mac1: and yes very fond of mr rosicky, very clever player, alike to mr fabregas, except more experianced and a good striker of the ball :)
  22. made up figures, fookin autobox would of blew up long before 520hp besides no mention of larger injectors, that aside car looks tidy
  23. if your with the rac or AA break down somewhere your choice ;) and tell them where it needs to go, just pull a big fookin hose off somewhere ;) you need a decnet cover though, but worth the surcharge
  24. use the same setting as nissan
