  1. ooooooooh so thats what she meant when she said shes up the duff
  2. best one for me is the blitz sbc,had that on my z, i think mac(ian) still uses this type easy to use and setup, one turn of the buttton and boost is ajusted in seconds
  3. i have the whole collection of all episodes on dvd, it is true to life in some cases  the best ones were with the bloke with tourettes classic!, randomly said bucket spunk in all the wrong places and nearly gets a kicking
  4. in which case il use 14 year old virgin oil only downside would be initial startup which may cause dry tight chaffing of the bearings etc :p
  5. 5w-50 would be me more suited to general short journeys, and you want an oil to give you good protection 10w-60 for trackdays, long journeys where your giving it beans! 5w-50 would be fine for short trips about shops, work etc :) they will both be fully synthetic so will give you maximum protection no one is right when it comes to recomending oils, you can only offer your opinion, iv always used 10w-60 rs as i do cane my car most of the time, secondly iv never had any problems using it in the last 4years
  6. get your subscriptions worth and blow me

  8. allan :slap: :p mr shrimp= the computer says NO ;) but it may say YES ...... 200sx s14a grounding kit bud, let me know a price ;) can you get a discount? :p
  9. it could be as you said the linkage clip on the inside of the door has come detached, does the central locking work ok, when your sat in the car? your bushings are knackered :) , fiddly job, but in all honesty POP :p shortshifters do come with bushings, problem is, there nomally plastic, and have no form of race in the middle, so when you nip the linkage bolt up tight it tends to be really tight to get in to gear, some grease helps, but new oem one would be better, you may even have to reshape the new nissan ones as they probably wont fit the shortshifter very well! you may find it better to just change the bushings and keep the standard shifter, but thats up to you :)
  10. make sure you have a decent seal around both ali pipes as it could be weeping out between there, as your changing the crank oil seal you will have to do that anyway :)

cant remember saying anything about a stock 300 twin turbo doing 190mph ;) i know a couple of people who have been up to an around 190mph in a 300 and the autobox is capable of reaching 200 mph on standard ratio, however you would need a shed load of power, and also alot or runway this is in theory http://www.300zx.org.uk/gear_ratios.htm
  15. if its low on oil and noisy its probably to late, as wear has happend already if its bottom end it will more likely bearings if its top end lifters/followers, more likely this as the topend will suffer first, being furthest away from the pump!
  16. you got to be sad cock to go on there in the first place, i would rather look on the b&q website

is it true you have to take the engine out to do the turbos? not striclty true but yes passenger side is feasable, but not practical, by the time you have fecked around with 6 13mm spanners welded together  the engine would be out and new turbos fitted :) Does anyone ever do track days with an auto ? as you can imagine, it would be difficult but chunk on here had a bad leg, and with his auto he managed to drive the car like its ment to :p and they can be fun still, just not as predictable or controlable as if you had a manual, but there still very quick :p Will i be able to get one to keep up with my mothers s14a running 320bhp @ the tyres / rolling road ? yes with a bit of tuning it wouldnt be hard, although the s14a is a lot lighter than the 300zx, it is not geared like the 300zx so topend it would leave the 200sx behind after 150mph+ i have an s14a and its very quick even at the moment, however its a differant car alltogether with a tuned 300zx to around 400rwhp you could see 190mph ;) private test track of course :p do a search for the boneville jun 300zx z32 it holds the fastest land speed record for its rivals :) http://www.junauto.co.jp/democar/jb-z32/index.html?en good luck greg

  22. problem is you cant presume the mileage is true on in import in most cases its not and it dont matter if its a ferrari, nissan, porsche! any engine with a few miles will eventually have some engine problem/s wether it be an oil leak, tappet or a bearing, like you said if your going to do it do it properly :) if you need help with anything you got my number bud ;) greg
