  1. after driving hundreds of 300s iv found them real easy to drift/sidways and very easy to bring back straight  i own a 200sx s14a and it does feel lighter when driving, balance is better however i felt more safe in a 300 going sideways than my 200, but i do love my 200 aswell :)
  2. if its only since cambelt has been fitted i would guess the timing may be out by 1 tooth and is retarding/advacing the timing, get a timing strobe on the crank pully and check your getting 15 degrees, if its chucking the timing right off, the cambelt needs removing and reffited correctly greg
  3. what do you think paid for your turbo's :wack:
  4. i guess you have not driven a 350z to say what its like really :wack: they handle superbly well for a heavy car, and are nice to drive, feedback from the steering wheel is spot on and is a proper drivers car, performance is that of a TT, not as much road presence but with a set of turbos fitted and a subtle kit, i dont think you can go wrong. Its the price of them still which stops me buying one  as much as i love the z32 there not getting any younger.
  5. happy birthday from us all

    happy new year folks :D
  17. it will either be speed sensor, or if an import and a speed convertor is fitted, they do fail on ocassions as the speed sensor is connected to the steering have you noticed the power steering to go heavy?

its normally speed dependant, as said the engine is close interferance so most likely bent valves in the process, if it happened at idle you may be lucky just get a new cambelt on and compression test, TBH you will know if theres any serious damage as you may find one or more sprokets wont turn, which means valves are bent :(
  19. i did :wack: ^^ re-read lol
  20. clutch servo tank is fitted in the wing, and comes with a series of hoses which will lead to the clutch booster infront of the clutch pedal. you can eliminate this setup and choose to take a secondry feed from the brake servo hose using a t-piece then attaching hose from this to clutch booster, this saves removing wing to fit intake manifold. or if your hard! use no assistance, pedal is heavy but just managable, no fun in traffic though. if your running the correct intake manifold for clutch assitance you will need to change your auto balance bar for a manual one, as the manual bar has an extra takeoff for the assistance. also another tip, if your fitting the standard pipework for the master-slave cylinder, you can get a custom braided line, order up M10 1MM screw at each end with 750mm length and you can screw this direct from master cylinder in to your slave cylinder, not only is this done in 5 mins you can bleed the systym 1st time :D as the standard pipework is a bit of a ballache to run. regards greg

i dont think he was being harsh towards you, like you say its worth a try, but just because everything looks ok, dont mean it is, ie.. the reason they failed in the first place, was it short on oil? mileage? oil starvation? iv seen a lot of replacement bearings go within 1mile let alone 100miles, but fingers crossed it may cure it for good, in which case fairplay. :D
  22. if you remove all the recirc setup and bung it up you may recieve the odd pop bang, but its not good for turbo's as everytime you lift off change gear you will have air rushing back through the turbine stalling it. Does sound sweet though. also will kill your catalyst very quickly as you will have more unburnt fuel entering the exhaust.
