more than likely auto problem, iv seen a few faulty autoboxes which have strange whining/wurring in all gears, get the fluid drained and check for any discolouration, or metal particals

are you reffering to the springs? as they can become compressed/worn and lead to rattle in gear below a certain RPM i think boldy shown a pic of a worn spring, this can cause problems, more noticable from cold.

it should come out no problem, have you tried applying a big bar to the side of the box to give yourself some room? failing that you could drop the 6 x 14mm bolts that hold the gearbox cross member, this will then drop the box and inch or 2 however you will need to support the gearbox when doing this, and you will need a jack to get the box back in to its lined up position iv never had a problem taking out a speed sensor, although fiddly, even more so on an auto, it shouldnt be a problem. greg

most supra's skylines rx-7's are averaging 10years old now and prices have dropped off, so i think they have all ended up in a nieche, besides as japanese cars are so popular, prices need to be reduced, because of competition and the such as long as you the owner is happy who cares
