  1. hicas light removal wont effect the ECU and if your engine has been out, you may of connected a hose from the side of the plenum to the balance bar, and the boost gauge hose to the side of the plenum. greg

  11. daz! how many hammers do you need bud? was it that hard to get the v8 in then ;)
  12. yeh, iv seen the aftermarth from a garage whom used 6ltrs of oil in a 300zx, the poor car looked like it was shot by arnold swarzenegger oil seals were shot all over the place and leaking :headvswal
  13. yeh a friend of mine took his z for an mot he was a bag of nerves before hand! passed first time with 1 advisory :)
  14. :D your confusing me with someone else :D
  15. i doubt you would sell your car, you sound illiterate to me! and to call a 2+2 shite on a 300zx forum :( your a proper dumbass!
  16. 3.4 is not enough! 3.8-4ltrs is perfect and have done around 500 oil changes, 3.4ltr wont even register.
  17. well its half a dozen of one and 6 of the other. if your using a thermostatic fan then its set to come on at times when needed so load is not always on the alternator, but i think for the little power a viscous fan would use, its not worth the while changing over.
  18. viscous works well aslong as the viscous coupling is in good condition, and i cant see nissan fitting them for no reason.
  19. You can remove the whole systym with gearbox out, inc pipework to manifold via EGR unit, although 9 times out of 10 the 22mm nut on the manifld rounds off! alot easier to remove on an NA
  20. the problem is the amount of rust on uk cars! on most not all! you either buy one with previous owner taking great care of it! ie... from here. or as jimmer said jump on sashas car you wont regret it, very tidy allround.
  21. im probably confusing it with another 300, however i have definatly worked on it at ztech on a couple of occassions, nice car in the flesh, body mods are subtle and the gold wheels go well with the black owner looked after it well to, and its manual rocking horse shit these days aswell! worth 4-5k but no more IMO good luck bud!
  22. iv worked on that car, fairly tidy, velour interior, but it still is a series 1! rear seats are still tweed IIRC. greg
  23. cup/cap makes no odds and how big is the cup? or how big is the cap? FFS  fookin PC :D
