  5. i think even the swb has a lever to gain accsess to the rear qtr
  6. they are generally stiff,after is passes through the lobe,it should spin out of your hands.but if they are all moving that a good sign,get a new belt on and tensioner,then do a compression check. hopefully it being an auto and due to the fact its at low speed,you may be lucky,we had an auto z with broken belt that snapped at 20mph no damge done and a compression check turned out good and cylinders within spec.
  7. how do they know its the oil pump?what tests have they done,a second opinion might be a worthy trial
  8. last 2cars we have had at ztech with timing belt snapped it had damaged valves in the process,after fitting new belt it was obvious when one sprocket would not turn,due to a bent valve/s so a compression test was not needed,but new heads were. :( just get the front stripped,check the movement of the camshafts,if they turn ok,get a new belt and tensioner on,and do a compression test,and go from there,you may be lucky,you might not # just to add both were manuals

  14. hi mick i had the later velour/suede seats in mine and there ideal,grip well in to corners,warm in the winter and dont burn your arse in the summer,all the downsides of leather :D there no lighter,but at least an alternative,never been a fan of leather only plus side of leather is you can wipe jizum stains of that the misses leaves :D

  21. bit to much that 4ltrs is spot on,i wasnt going to answer this because everyone has there own idea of how much oil to use :rolleyes: if the engine has been fully stripped add 4ltrs and top up as nes thats what the dipsticks for ;)
  22. it will be a fuse drivers footwell,replace the blown fuse as andy says and bobs your uncle and gillians ya **** buddy ;)

  24. use a hardened 17mm 1/2"socket with a very big breaker bar,then slide the biggest scaffold bar over that,trust me that will shift it,just make sure you hold the bar straight,otherwise the bolts may round
