  1. its not the greatest, but all the other kits ive seen look like they were designed by retards, all swishing and slashing, i wanted the kaminari stuff, but with the excahnge rate going down, its getting mighty expensive, $400 just for the spoiler :nelson:
  2. thats a bugger, think im gonna need to cancel getting it fixed and lose some money :hurl: I hait it when this happens
  3. Well someone was supposed to be selling me and autobox and torque converter for 200 quid this morning, so i booked it into the garage for thursday, ive booked the car being collected today. And now ive been let down by the box seller  Is there anyone up in scotland with a box that is selling kinda cheap, oive only got about 200 to sprare, as the rest i decided to put towards my holiday spending money :smash: I need this quicker than ASAP, so please post if you have something, help me if you can

use parcel to go, but just say the parcel is shorter than it really is, thats what i do all the time and never had a problem :nana2:
  5. Is it ok to bypass the marix while i wait on a replacement ? found one for 70+vat and ordered it, just waiting on delivery, but the car is also booked into The Garage to get the box done on thursday, and would prefer it was running :slap:
  6. just got the number mate, will be calling after i get showered and stuff :hyper: Quick question, does it come with a torque converter ? thanks
  7. stagea gets my vote, more reliable and a lot more load lugging capacity, you can pick them up for 2-2.5k in good nick, plus if you wanna go manual, all the stuff from the skyline can be used
  8. hi mate can you send me your number again for the autobox ? the girl deleted it by mistake and im home for the week and wanna get the car sorted asap
  9. i just found this on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=260192287404 and tbh i quite like it, its subtle apart from the spoiler but you dont get that anyway, and a bargain to boot, it works out cheaper than a greddy front bumper :smash:
  10. i called some london company today, the guy was in the workshop, but said he was pretty sure it was around 80 quid, ive to call back tomorrow to confirm it  TBH if it was summer i would bypass it just now, but its abit cold to have no heating
  11. for your car TBH the gains will be not very cost efficient, you will need twice as many cams as them for a start  I dont know what cam kits are out there for your car, but im guessing it will be around 1k for a complete cam kit, plus fitting on top of that, for that kinda money, get a TT engine and convert to the dark side :D
  12. TBH theose gauges are less than usefull. Being a narrowband sensor its nothing mire than pretty lights im afraid. The only way to get accurate reading on your A/F ratio is with a wideband :)
  13. *sniff* * sniff* does anyone else smell that ? :xxx:
  14. cheers mate, id rather source a uk one, i hate waiting for things abroad, they aways seem to get delayed with me :headvswal il have a little look and see if i can find a guide
  15. i am mechanically minded, done a few engine conversions, big brake upgrades etc, im an engineer to trade, where is the best place to get them ? cheers for the info :duffer:
  16. i knew about the box, was the reason the car only cost me 800 quid, with 10 months mot and 2 months tax, and a huge folder of receipts  It does need a little work, but the engine is solid sounding with no smoke or rattles, and also has a performance exhaust on it from the car back. Bargain IMO  So i guess it will be the matrix, is there any links to guides ? or workshop manuals to work out if its worth booking into a garage to do or not
  17. How hard is it to replace ? I just got my first Zed at the weekend, blown autobox but the RAC brought it back the 448 miles  While i was down letting it run and inspecting it, the car filled with steam and the drivers footwell flooded, my first thought went to the heater matrix :smash: Is this common ? or is there something else it is likely to be before i go wasting money on cash that could go towards the respray :hyper:
  18. a mk3.5 fiesta si with coilovers, 210 bhp engine out of a FRST, exhaust etc. Not bad for a 19 YO, and the insurance was only 1200 aswell :nana2: Ive had 36 cars in 4 years, i really should stop :wack:
  19. This is actually for 2 dump valves and the fitting kit, but still expensive, IIRB whifbitz are cheaper, but not sure :headvswal
  20. with 10 inch rears, and an offset of 18, it will stick out like jordans love pillows :xxx: Gor for the +38 mate, at least you can space them out if you feel like it, whereas going backwards is a hell of alot harder im afraid
  21. very good to hear mate, name and shame the offending garage, so we all no to avoid them :smash:
  22. ok doke, il get that done tomorrow, thanks very much :D
  23. hi guys, since im new and cant reply in the for sale section, there is someone adreigh or something like that selling a stage 1 ecu, can you put dibs on it for me and find out what make it is ?:headvswal And also how do i join if i dont have paypal ? thanks
  24. have a bash mate, your not doing anything drastic and alothough it looks complex, its the best way to learn, thats how i did it :) Fitting a dumpvalve is easy enough mate, if i was home i could fit them for you as im just down the road in kilmarnock :)
