You could get paint mixed up, but it would never be exact, only the people who originally mixed it up know the quantities, to get the batch right :hurl: I feel for you mate, i was in the same boat a few years back, in the end i just got something close, and had it blended but it just never looked the same :cry:

The r33 has a ceramic exhaust wheel, and if your very unlucky, the plastic compressor wheel :shock: Nissan mixed and matched the combos throughout the range with no way of knowing what turbo was what. Some were all steel from the factory, but these were few and far between. And ivenever heard 500 bhp from the standard turbos, the N1's yes, but standard ones no :nono:

im not converting to manual just yet, will be doing that early next year, want to save up add some goodies, then get the bodywork all done so its minty fresh :) Then get a manual conversion done !

excellent, looks like il be doing that then :rofl: The car is taxed and mot'd, and the insurace will be getting purchased a few days before i go to pick it up, so will be fine, and then i can get a flight back home :tongue: I really cant wait to get it now, there will be goodies added for xmas, FMIC, full exhaust,suspension and alloys, and if one comes up cheap a chip for it :slap:

hmm, what about calling them, and telling them you have broken down, but you have to go home before they can collect. Would they collect if your not there ? I dont mind travelling down, its a tenner for flights to stanstead, and im sure it wont cost too much to travel to hornuchurch, its just travelling back that would be boring :duffer:

ive posted up asking for one, we will see how it goes, also called my local tuner, 210 quid to fit the replaceement box, and he has intercooler kits in stock, as well as other tuning goodies, so might leave his place with my wallet a whole lot lighter :nelson: The insurance was the biggest surprise, i asked about adding, exhaust, wheels, fmic and coilovers it went from 730, to 768 :dance: Result :D

I was looking at a 300 with a broken auto box :wack: Was just curious about how to get it recovered by the rac as i have nationwide recovery :hyper: BUt was talking to a mate, he was in the same boat. Bought a range rover that was a non runner, called the rac and informed them he had broke down, but had to get a flight hoome, but the keys were left with someone, they sent someone to collect it and delivered it to his house. So il be doing that :cool::p

ypu, the 300 is a nicer looking car, i think the GTO is ok, but looks "wrong" from certiain angles :confused:

im 23 with 3 years NCD, and my quote through HIC was £730, and i THINK that was FC :shock: Seriously try them, they are EXCELLENT for modded cars, the guy i spoke to on the phone really knew his stuff, and for a 10 percent hike in power, its a 10 percent hike in premium, and non power raising mods do very little to the premium im told :xxx:

as far as im aware, they have t3 mounting flanges, just like the GTS, so wont bea bolt on affair, and they flow enough for 400 bhp, so no really a worthwhile upgrade, unless you can get some N1 stell turbos, which are good for 600bhp apparently :)

there is just more pipes and crap going to and from an auto, but tbh, i stay near a very well known tuners, and he has done work for me in the past, so wil find out how mch for him to change, saves me a couple of days on my back ( no jokes please :nono::wack:)

jujst never worked on an auto before, :rofl: a manual car is easy enough, but im fooked if i have an idea about auto boxes an TC's :smash: ( learnt all my knowledge by doing, by no means im a a mech :rolleyes:)

i wouldnt insult you by actuall offering you as little as that mate, i was being sarcastic :smash: I can see ther has been alot of love and effort put into it, and i really like it :cool: What is the autobox like to change on these ? as ive found one with a duff auto box, its kinda cheap, and leaves money to spare to get it all up to scratch :hyper:

ive just found one on ebay, its in essex. needs a new autobox, but thats not a problem, and the spare cash give me money to modify :shock:
