Any rubber hose will do as long as it's rated for fuel. Ebay is loaded with them. As for the de-pressurising, your pretty much spot on but take the fuel fuse out before starting the engine. Turn her over a few times and your done.

Ugly little bugger but did have a mental performance. My mate had a 1.0 City with tartan seats and the finest lino known to man. That was just an ugly little bugger with no performance whatsoever..lol
