  1. I've got the old Kindle reader bud, if it's anything like that but with movies and games etc. It'll be great.
  2. Jesus that's bad. Remind me never to drive in russia.... or china or india
  3. I've no idea mate, but don't like the idea of quotas for the Police. Shocking really on both counts
  4. Welcome on board mate :thumbup1:
  5. Nice one. Glad to have you on board mate. :thumbup1:
  6. I wouldn't bother with windows 8 at the moment. Leave it a few months so that the major bugs will be found and fixed. Win 7 is the most stable OS on pc and does everything you want.
  7. Not necessarily, they may well be UK ones. Pads and shims are the same for both types.
  8. A fresh Pearl yellow zed can look really nice, trouble is they fade and look washed out. Gunmetal Grey is a nice colour on zeds too.
  9. Sorry mate missed that post. Some multimeters have a continuity function on them mine doesn't so I set it to the lowest resistance setting it does. Test the meter by touching the probes together, the display should change to read 0. Now connect the probe to the switch terminals (doesn't mater which way round you connect them) then put the box into reverse. If the switch is working the multimeter should read 0, if the display stay the same (mine says -1 when no connection) then the switch is working. Take it out of gear and the meter should change. Try this a couple of times and if you are getting a signal then not, the switch is fine. Haven't really explained it very well but hopefully you can get what I'm on about. HTH
  10. Try Zedworld in our traders area, they will help you out. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/forumdisplay.php?42-Official-300zx-co-uk-Traders-Forums Please note that you have to be a subscribed member before you can sell on the forum.
  11. They're the ones I've got bud, rock solid aren't they..
  12. Here you go mate as promised; http://www.myabandonware.com/game/x-com-terror-from-the-deep-1pk It's Abandonware now and runs great in dosbox :) UFO is on there too.
  13. it's been Barry boy'd
  14. What is going on with the front bumper? I can't work it out  P.S. Been ill this week and that didn't help mate...
  15. First off, yes switch is replaceable. I would have thought a simple continuity test would tell you mate. Stick the box in reverse and see if the connections made. If not then duff switch?
  16. See mate, I told you everyone would claim that there colour is the best....
  17. My axle stands don't slip with the zed but they are 6 ton 4 legged van stands :)
  18. Can't think of anything to help out bud but I do agree that the price of insurance for newly passed drivers is astronomical. I understand that they are considered a bigger risk than us older ones but the car she's got is hardly a drag monster or typical chav mobile. They do seem to be cracking down on the parents that do fronting. Must be very frustrating for you both. One thing; Are you trying to get TPFT or fully comp? Reason I ask is that fully comp is often cheaper these days than TPFT.
  19. Yeah, but yours is a drift monster in the making and wears it well mate.
  20. Already here.......:shifty:
  21. Welcome to the club :) Personally I don't think matt black suits the zed at all but it's you're choice mate. PS People will say that they're colour is the fastest but unless it's black they're wrong
  22. One for Jakai there, I'll let him know.
  23. Yep, jack a car up from the rear when It's already on ramps will cause the car to move backwards and fall off. As you've found out. Hope the damage isn't too bad mate. This happened to me a while back, zed came off the front ramps while lifting the rear and was heading towards smacking into my garage wall. Luckily I managed to get between the zed and wall and stop it doing any damage to the car. Hurt a bit and I don't recommend it, but saved my zed. To avoid this either use axle stands at the front (car will pivot quite happily on them while jacking the rear) or lower the front back to the ground before jacking the rear up.
  24. Don't know the bloke (before my time) but that sounds nasty, hope he makes a speedy recovery from his op.
