  1. tbh It annoyed me, not the vid but the truth behind it...
  2. You'd need to ask the DVLA that mate. But for some reason most flood damaged cars are given a Cat B status.
  3. Isn't a cat B a write off that could be sold for parts but the shell had to be crushed? My JDM was a cat B and I bought it back for salvaging bits but once complete I had to get it crushed and provide the DVLA with the certificate of destruction. So with that in mind, you won't be able to repair the car as it's no longer considered safe to be on the roads. Don't know why they said a VIC test would be needed. I'd check up on it. That said, I'd still buy it back and strip for parts.
  4. Chicken strips and a coke for me please...
  5. No mate, you don't need to touch the prop, just undo the 6 bolts that hold the shaft to the diff (6 per side). Don't need to remove diff or prop mate.
  6. Thinking about it. You could always undo the half shaft from the diff (6 bolts) and take the whole hub assembly to a garage to push out the HICAS bush. You wouldn't have to worry about taking the nut off and getting the splined shaft of then. Don't forget to disconnect the handbrake cable though...
  7. AIV removal is an easy and strangely satisfying job to do bud.
  8. ebay is never on the side of the seller
  9. If it helps mate, mine just pulled off. It was cracking the the nut AFTER I'd removed it all that I struggled with.
  10. I swapped mine for some ES ones. Have a word with Mr F, he should be able to source you some.
  11. Entertainment for next years JAE? lol
  12. Now that does look fun! Would love to have a go at that..
  13. The bloke who played Pike is still going, he's the last one now.
  14. I saw the first pic and thought blimey that's a good replica. Then I saw the others...
  15. hmm, seems legit....
  16. It seems that this was a misunderstanding and both parties have sorted it out to a happy resolution.
  17. They don't like it up 'em.....
  18. It wasn't so much that they wouldn't allow the referendum to take place, it was more to do with the SNP wanting Devoultion max included as a back up option. As the devo max option would have affected everyone in the uk, it wasn't fair to just allow the Scottish to vote on it. Devo max and Independence are two very separate things and would need to be addressed differently.
  19. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-20239694 Rest in Piece Corporal Jones
  20. What he needed was a quantum singularity projector. This would create a miniature black hole (about the size of a grain of sand) in front in front of him that pulses on and off very rapidly. He would then be pulled toward the event horizon of the black hole and effectively be in free fall with no feeling of acceleration due to the bubble this would create around him. As everything in this "bubble" is being pulled forward at the same relativity of mass you would not feel it. Given enough time say around 10mins at x times gravity (pull of the black hole) he would achieve a speed of around 299,000kps (kilometres per second) or 99.7% c (the speed of light) (roughly). Too slow down he would have to project the singularity behind him at the same rate as his acceleration, other wise he would shoot off at near light speed for infinity or until he hit something ( a single photon sized particle would be enough to cause an explosion large enough to destroy the planet) Now that would be one hell of a mod for the zed :w00t: especially if it was also fitted with an Alcubierre drive (google it) Pity it's all theory really....
  21. Happy Birthday Mr Thrust. Have a great day :pint:
