  7. Welcome matey :)
  8. Mine arrived yesterday, what a fantastic little gizmo even managed to download the entire 300zx service manual to it . Has anyone else got one?
  9. Looking forward to it
  10. Another Update: Replaced coil connector, no change so I replaced the whole coil. The engine is running better now but is still not right. I ran a conzult cylinder test and it's saying that Cylinder No 1 is showing a drop of -12rpm and is highlighted in red:thumbdown:. The other 5 are in the green and passed (dodgy coil was on cylinder 4). ECU is giving code 55 so no problem there. So, I guess that there is a problem with cylinder 1:hammer:. I'm not really that good at engines so I don't know what's causing this:confused1:. As mentioned I have changed the injector plug on this cylinder but have confirmed that the injector is working via the screwdriver test. What do I do next? :helpsmilie:
  11. Nice one Dan, top gent :euro: And Baz the wheels look great mate :punk:
  12. Battery the wrong way round..lol
  13. I'm thinking something stuck up the exhaust too.
  14. Bit of an update. I did the screwdriver test and all 6 injectors are clicking like an African tribe. I found a mashed coil connector which I disconnected, the engine ran exactly the same as when plugged in. So I'm thinking that I've somehow disturbed this knacked coil connector when doing the injectors and it's now fallen apart so much that it's given up the ghost. I'll get hold of a another coil connector and see if this cures it.
  15. I'll try and get out and check it over tomorrow rain permitting, then report back my findings.
  16. Cheers mate, I'll give that a go. I did change the balance bar O rings for new.
  17. I've done a few jobs on the zed including; replacing 4 of the old injector connectors (they were just spade ends pushed on the injectors!!) with new Nissan ones, swapped the balance bar for a chrome one, replaced the seals on the BMC and changed the CC unit in the engine bay for a much cleaner one. The problem I'm having is that the engine is vibrating the whole car really badly now and is idling very rough, almost cutting out. I've checked the MAF that was fine, the connectors I changed were soldered on and checked. I've cleaned all the connectors with contact spray. I did have a split pipe on the back of the balance bar, which when I pulled it off the car wouldn't start. I thought that this was the problem, but I've changed the pipe for a good one and it's just as bad  Could this be a boost leak problem or caused by a problem with the connectors I changed? Car was running fine before I did the work :death: Help me as I'm really stuck on this one.
