  1. as you say Pete, but you also need to remove the ps pot's cap to let it burp.
  2. That makes sense - cheers.
  3. anywhere between £450 and £600 for the parts s/h mate.
  4. Sounds daft but I'm not 100% on what this is (as relates to gearbox). I'm stuck between a brass bushing that goes on the crankshaft? or a clutch release bearing? I'm not a mechanic so, unless I've had to deal with the problem on my zed, I don't know :blushing:
  5. Is there 2 bellhousing plates then? I only have the one.
  6. Great work mate, I can't believe the difference you've made.
  7. true, but you'll surprised by the weight difference that the impact bar makes.
  8. Yeah, best get a man to look it over! I had a a similar problem when I replaced the brake lines; I couldn't get the air out of the system but there wasn't any sign of a leak. I tightened up all the connections again and the it bled fine. I think that one of the connectors was tight enough to stop fluid dripping but was letting air in when the pedal was released (if that makes sense?)
  9. Did you bleed it properly? Sounds like you have some air in there. Might be a leak from the pipe extension. Did you get a MAN to look it over after you'd done it?
  10. Very very nice. I like that it keeps the essence of the E-type.
  11. Yeah, the S2's do have side impact bars, or at least mine did. I swapped mine over for S1 doors due to both of them being dented. I put my S2 doorcard and used the s2 pillars to cover up the bolt holes left from the seatbelt. All the wiring is the same.
  12. Welcome back matey :)
  13. I'll give you a quid (posted) for it..... Nice buy matey :thumbup1:
  14. Nice one, cheers mate :gunsmilie:
  15. Cheers, I've done the power on backup thingy but no different. I'll see if it updates tonight. What HD would you recommend and is there a max size that the box can use?
  16. I did a deal with the Devil and sacrificed a goat to get mine out...
  17. tbh mate, the only thing you can do is get the box off and see what's what. For piece of mind though I would replace the fork, pivot ball and the retainer springs.
  18. I only wanted to watch Shutter Island :(
  19. Just to let you know; There are also alloy callipers for the TT's iirc they changed them to iron for the series 2 due to warping issues.
  20. have you got it plugged in?
  21. lol. That's sky anytime downloading stuff to your harddisk. Mine honks just before it starts. lol
  22. My anytime hasn't updated in 2 days. Is it just me or has anybody else had this?
  23. Z1 are doing them for $58 making it cheaper then the normal one which is $71.
