I'm getting ready to do my manual conversion on my UK auto. I'm pretty much sorted in my head how the clutch and gearbox go on mechanically but I'm a little confused about a couple of things. 1. Do the gearbox electrical connections simple plug into the existing autobox wiring? i.e. Reverse switch, neutral switch and speed sensor doodah. It also has a wire coming off an oil line, which I'm assuming is a temp sensor. 2. The manual box has two oil cooler hard lines on it. Are these just attached to the exisiting ATF cooler lines (after a complete flush) or can they just be joined together and ignored? 3. After changing over the shifter to a short shifter I'm finding it hard to select gears. Have I installed the shifter incorrectly or can this be expected when the box isn't attached to the car? I'll no doubt have more questions to come but any help on the above would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Dave

Not sure bud, I just used an ISO lead on the original plug and connected the headunit to it.

A standard oem TT clutch will be fine for what your doing. You're looking at around £235 for the clutch kit from Nissan.

I'm not a fan of big ICE setups in cars, for me as long as the quality of the sound is perfect then I'm happy.

You're not welding the hole up on the manifold. It's a plug that the old egr pipe went into that your welding shut. This can then be put back into the thread on the manifold.

Switched the news on at dinner time and I couldn't believe what I was seeing, so sad.

iirc it's the little extension bar from your EGR valve. The pipe runs from the top of the egr to a hard line on the back of the plenum and then onto the egr Solenoid.
