  1. There are a couple of potentiometers built into the speedo for adjustment.
  2. Was driving over to the other half's Mum a while back and talking about old cars we'd had etc. Drive up her Mum's road and there is one of my old cars (Astra GSi) parked on a driveway. Bit more rust than it used to have, but still living on. I'd part-ex'd it about 10 years previously for a Renault 19 16v at a garage probably 40 miles away.
  3. Perhaps £3 - 3.5K ? Will depend on finding the right buyer.
  4. Not unless you really welly it. The balancing is done by those little bits of metal plate that ware tack welded to the outside of the shaft.
  5. To make it more realistic you could have used my head and not my body ! lol
  6. and white, and blue ..... ;)
  7. I had a similar problem but I don't have all the additional pipework due to an auto/man conversion. I did replace the seals in the master cylinder which didn't seem to make any difference. In the end I decided that air gets trapped in the end of the master cylinder as it is angled upwards slightly. Can't remember what I did exactly, but take a look and see if yours is similar - jacking up the back of the car may help. I have a feeling that some master cylinders have an additional bleed point on the end - mine doesn't.
  8. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/in_depth/629/629/7293011.stm Doesn't explain how older cars are dealt with though.
  9. Generally it's only post March (I think) 2001 - that's when cars started being rated in kg/CO2 per mile etc.
  10. Looks like the chip has been soldered straight in too - b'stards !
  11. Need to look at the inside to be certain.
  12. It's whatever email address you used to register with Paypal. You can also go in and add additional emails afterwards.
  13. As far as I can establish, your subscription expired on 29th October, 2004.
  14. LOL - it's a mess under the covers as this is the 2nd one that's been fitted.
  15. Yeah, I know, but it matches my front one.
  16. If you have an intimate knowledge of what typical maps look like in ConZult then fair enough, if not then I reckon you don't have the chip you expect/want. Suggest you remove the ECU and take a look at the chip itself, send me a photo if you're unsure and then we can think about next steps.
  17. Butterscotch version ... Mmmmmm ....
  18. We just did the Scots a favour by saving them from the Wooden Spoon.
  19. Part numbers do change occasionally. MJP would be the best place to check as Courtesy Nissan use their own part numbers. Give Mike a call.
  20. I think it is 22630-V5001
  21. When I update the full list I will attempt to get that for you, although there are a couple that are not obvious (some people seem to use their partners Paypal etc)
