Big brakes and spare wheels ....
Yes, the rear hubs need modifying to fit the calipers. I've posted about it a number of times before, there will also be some pictures if you search.

Big brakes and spare wheels ....
Believe it or not that had crossed my mind, but a) it is only supposed to be installed one-way round and doesn't fit properly, b) I'm not that daft !

Big brakes and spare wheels ....
I have 350Z kit all round. And a 350Z space saver does not fit !

I've never had a Z series, we were all T's here. Definitely one of the best machines around. We did buy 55,000 of them !

laptop batteries
Sometimes it's the software rather than the battery which causes the problem. If you discharge the battery completely, the the software resets itself and you may get better battery life again. I've had my current IBM ThinkPad for 3.5 years and the battery still seems very good. It's used on mains all day, every weekday and on battery at other times. According to it's data it now only maintains 19.97 Wh of it's theoretical 47.51 Wh capacity, but it has been cycled 723 times over that period, so it's not dooing so bad. If I performed a deep cycle recharge I suspect I'd get a little if that capacity back.

Injector harneses cleaning
I would have thought it would be non-conducting. You don't want anything conductive near HT leads unless you like 50,000 V electric shocks !

intrested old thread on boost... stock ecu
Running one of my chips without a boost increase seems to make a small difference, never dyno'd it for exact measurements though. All the modified map is doing is making it safer to run higher boost.

Injector harneses cleaning
Opinion seems divided on whether vaseline is a conductor or not, my instinct suggests it would be a very poor conductor as I don't see much opportunity for free electrons to be sloshing around, like in a metal. Essentially, anything except a vacuum, will conduct electricity, if there is enough current, but materials with free electrons will be a much better conductor than materials that have little or none. The reason vaseline is smeared on battery terminals is to prevent oxidation, eg that white crud, and has nothing to do with any properties as a conductor. It is possible to buy both conducting and non-conducting (dilectric) grease.
