Anyone know of a Techtom MDM for sale?
I have one and it's wired in permanently - it is useful for keeping an accurate eye one a few things, but the Datascan or ConZult dashboard would be much more useful, especially if it would be run on a PDA, or car pc.

How will a Techtom help in the mapping ? It doesn't tell you a great deal.

How free-flowing are the Zs airbox inlet tracts and the airbox itself
A correctly oiled K&N panel filter will not contaminate the AFM and they are very effective filters, probably second only to Apexi.

might have found the problem!
Most intermittent problems like that are electrical. Check for sparks on all plugs.

I knew someone who had a mid 90's BMW 2.5 diesel estate thing (E36?). Anyway, one day the ECU packed up and BMW wanted something like £2.5k for a new one. He managed to find a 2nd hand one from somewhere in Belgium for about £800 and then he thought, "What the hell, it's done 430,000 miles, maybe I ought to buy a new car ..."

Yeah, but for what you've spent you could get 3 or 4 Cerbies these days ! Or maybe 2 plus a years running cost ...

Big brakes and spare wheels ....
Exactly, I've been trying to get hold of a spacesaver or a matching wheel for a while, now I'm starting to look for anything that will fit.

Big brakes and spare wheels ....
That's not always convenient, especially if you happen to be halfway to Le Mans ! I aways keep a can of TyreWeld in the car, but if the tyre is badly damaged it's no use.
