  1. From either a R34 V-spec or a 350Z I would have said.
  2. It may run a little rich if you haven't raised the boost, but it wouldn't do any harm.
  3. Yep, good idea, the Z club did it this year. We should add this to this list of imporvments for next year, just like we did for this.
  4. Yeah, well if those 'crystals' are petrochemical based then I may start to believe it. Even if it was proper snakeoil I might even be slightly less sceptical ;). However, if there was a cheap or easy way of raising the octane then the oil companies would have done it after they removed the lead.
  5. Mix'n'match RAM is a bad thing. Keep it all the same speed and if possible the same manufacturer.
  6. See this thread for more detail :- http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?p=89532#post89532post89532
  7. I said Peterborough but only beuuase Billing was getting too crowded. Billing also tended to have 'other' stuff (like bloody caravans) going on which was completed unrelated to sports cars. I think what would have improved JAE this year would be moving the areas a little closer together whilst allowing camping outside a 'core' boundary and grouping like cars together. Although we were nominally next to the Z Club, the 200sx and Skyline guys were miles away.
  8. After much faffing around I have extracted the video clip. It's about 3.5Mb and is here :- http://www.300zx.org.uk/TGZ32.wmv
  9. How can it raise the octane if it doesn't add anything to the fuel ?
  10. I suspect he doesn't have the adapter loom.
  11. Mine involves fabricating a bracket, the reason for which should be obvious !
  12. Lisa, I suspect your car is a Z31 rather than a Z32. So a 240/260/280z, rather than a 300zx twin turbo which is what we specialise in. I'm sure someone will be able to help you, but we need to be certain which car we're discussing.
  13. It had "Le Bra" embossed on the side of it too !
  14. AndyP replied to a post in a topic in General Discussions - Non 300ZX
Even though he can't spell it right! LOL ;)
  15. Danny is doing them too.
  16. Was really interested in how many people went, not how many cars they took, but never mind.
  17. Actually, I did some research on the web about this and it sounds like it's too thin and wouldn't work well. I guess it's a lot easier and more convenient to just carry on using normal diesel and being extorted by the Chancellor. :(
  18. Great work - send me a receipt if you need a cheque to cover the costs.
  19. Vote here so we know. I counted 49 Z's when I was there Saturday.
  20. Blimey, you had me worried when I read the subject of this thread !
  21. Which was his ?
  22. It was a Z32 wasn't it ? (With dump valves)
  23. I counted 49 cars there yesterday, would have expected quite a few more today given decent weather.
