It has three unusual bulbs in it, but you can temporarily replace them with the w5w type, although they should be 15w I think (or is it 21w?)

AvGas is 110 octane I think ? That would be ok as a mix. Bear in mind that although jap fuel is 100 octane the quality is not as good as ours. Also feel sorry for the US people, some of them have REALLY low octane ...

Was it a wet or dry test ?

Well it won't be in Halfords, thats for certain. You may have to be a bit creative ....

You don't have to buy racing fuel, if you can get hold of toluene !

Cheapest I found on the way to Le Mans was 107, but on motorways it was usually 124 or 127. The price of their diesel has also gone up dramatically, still a bit cheaper than here though.

Probably, but there are others that are more compatible. Have a look at the Castrol Super Response DOT4.1. Its about 10 quid a litre in Halfrauds.

Heh, it was nice to find something that was a cheap and easy fix. Shame it had to be number 5 that caused the problem though, becuase it's under the balance bar.

The heater matrix is the mini radiator in the dashboard that provides the cabin heating. (and when it spring a leak it fills your footwell and ECU with boiling water - which is nice !)
