  1. Have you done the obvious stuff like set it from master to slave etc ?
  2. Brembo discs have "Brembo" stamped on the rim. I think that non drilled are less likely to cause problems, although my cross-drilled Brembos didn't appear to crack.
  3. Dia is 324mm, same as the Skylines. 350Z brakes look identical to the Skylines only the offset is slightly different. New 350 discs cost about £172+VAT each, but I got a pair of very low milage 2nd hand ones. I'm told the the OEM Skyline discs are a ridiculous price each !!! (So buy my brand new spare pattern pair for £200!)
  4. I look a bit like that short, grey bloke you may have spoken to at JAE !
  5. Just about £600 !
  6. Jobs a good'un. Gotta let them bed in a bit but they feel pretty good already.

Champion is hardly what you'd call a 'pattern' filter in the sense that those cheap nasty unlabelled ones are. I use them all the time anyway, except if I happen to have been to a Nissan dealer, which is very rare. In the dim and distant past I seem to remember a test indicating that the Champion ones performed better than the OEM Toyota ones.
  8. So are there any originals left ?
  9. It's not a chance it's a cetainty. I have two cars and you can guarantee that if one breaks down then the other will be off the road for some reason ... :(
  10. I reckon PTU. Do the ECU check or get a ConZult on it for more clues.
  11. Have a look in the online manual - like here :- http://www.300zx.co.uk/tech/manual/manual/efec/058.gif
  12. Actually, there is a MS IE toolbar that enabled tabbed browsing. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=b7147402-efa6-4e1d-8817-c1a393ca0404&DisplayLang=en
  13. It really shouldn't go anywhere ! Do you have a leak ? Have you measured the level at the correct temp etc ?
  14. I've already got a manual one - nice !
  15. All you gotta do is search my site (most of the time!)
  16. http://www.ttzd.com/tech/asbarstech.html
  17. Erm, buy my old one and make a good one from the two ? ;) Seems a bit extreme to me ....
  18. In my old box I was using the Redline MT90, in the new one I've gone for the fully synth Silkolene SYN 5 75w-90 because it's cheaper. Did the diff at the same time with the same stuff as the old had been in there for 13 years !
  19. Use an airline, but put a block of wood in there to stop them going through the opposite wall !
  20. Mine old one only did that into 4th, the new one is absolutely fine.
  21. Yep, it means the diaphram is split.
  22. Lucky you weren't getting the beers in ! Happy Birthday
