  1. Best option is buy my Skyline discs and then get the brackets that offset your calipers to the larger diameter. ;)
  2. The Microsoft exams are harder than they first appear, not because they're difficult but because you have to give the "Microsoft" answer, rather than the correct one. This is compounded of course by learning the "real" answers from Cisco first !
  3. Most cars will have sooty exhausts running on unleaded fuel.
  4. The fuel simply washes the oil film off the barrels and causes accelerated barrel and piston ring wear leading to more oil consumption, more smoking, more wear etc (and more bills)
  5. The ConZult will tell you if your 02 sensors are dead - that is a very likely cause ...
  6. Yeah, like the queue in Tesco for "10 items or less" - Grrrrrr !
  7. Me too, but I messed up the spelling ones !!!!! Got used to that auto smelling checker now ....
  8. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/4246472.stm I scored a rather embarassing 18/20 - should be ashamed of myself !
  9. When I drove mine everyday it was all weathers - rain, snow or ice. I must admit that in the snow you have to be a bit careful, but rain is just plain fun.
  10. I run mine on that most of the time. Exceptions are hot days and dyno sessions.
  11. I used to use it all the time, have done more than 50,000 miles in it, but at the moment it's a 2nd car to my kaky diesel Xantia (which has done 16,000 miles in the last 11 months).
  12. It's a privilege extended only to subscribed members because I also have to go through the old records and update everything. (of course bribes will always be considered!;))
  13. You need to find somewhere with stacks of web space. Dunk on here seems to have an unlimited supply !
  14. I presume you mean the bolt rather than the pulley itself. I'd start with a tight fitting ring spanner and give it a sharp whack with a rubber hammer.
  15. Not all cars have seals. Some do have security screws though, which would be damaged/missing/replaced if it's been apart.
  16. Dunno what you were after, but I'd always recommend these people :- http://www.gsfcarparts.com
  17. Somebody did a write up on how to do this, in fact I'm sure it was me that posted the link to it. You'd have to search all through my drivel over the past 6 months or so to find it though ...
  18. http://www.petroldirect.com/biofuels.htm LMAO !
  19. I can socket the ECU for you if you need it.
  20. Happy birthday mate. Will probably bump into you again sometime.
  21. Yes, my other half picked it up from there when she was working over there a few months ago.
  22. [pedant]They're actually 54 M/bit and as you say the overhead is pretty high. If you got much more than 21 M/bit actual throughput over a full 54 M/bit connection I'd be impressed. There also some 108 M/bit systems available, but I don't think they are a IEEE ratified standard yet (like 802.11b/g) so interoperability and longer term support may be a problem. Stick with standards, then a card from one manufacturer and a router from another will work. Might not seem a big deal, but when you buy your new machine which has wireless built-in, or a mate comes round with a different device, then it's still gonna work right with your wireless router.[/pedant]
  23. Difficult to tell from that pic, but the spacing looks the same to me. It's probably just a bolt on spacer, rather than one which is loose and relies on longer wheel studs.
  24. Looks to me like a sachet of grease that would come for the backs of the pads ...
  25. OK, I'll do the search for you ... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=54475&highlight=windscreen
