  1. Jan 2006 and you should get automatic notification.
  2. Yeah, but it's just a switch. If you have the full TC then it should be an easy install. I'd always planned it myself, but never got around to it ....
  3. To the best of my knowledge they're handed and I don't think you can unbolt stuff and swap it around.
  4. You need to rev the spuds off them as they're a bit gutless in the midrange (in comparision with a TT), but aside from that they're pretty good. It's always nice to drive a new car I guess.
  5. Sorted - another Paypal synchronisation hiccup I think.
  6. I'm sure I recollect someone saying that the bellhousing on the NA gearbox is smaller. I'd guess that's more likely to be a problem with the flywheel than the clutch though.
  7. I think that restrictor is unique to Jap TT exhausts - it's one of various restrictions/adjustments that is put in place for cars limited to 112mph.
  8. I have Skyline wheels on mine and they fit fine. Only problem is that front and rear are the same width, ideally on a Z the rears should be wider.
  9. It means you need to buy a 2nd hand one from AndyZ etc
  10. Could well be - check the pad wear indicators (if you have them)

There are also a couple of good remapped chips available for NA's. I think JWT did one too. Anybody tried it ?
  12. The fact that the filter is full of kak indicates the real problem. It's usually the clutch plates & bands that are breaking up !
  13. Nabbed from the BBC web page ... Ronnie Barker's best lines A selection of the star's finest lines, from classic shows like The Two Ronnies, Open All Hours and Porridge. The Two Ronnies: On a packed show tonight, we'll be talking to an out-of-work contortionist who can no longer make ends meet Porridge: What have I learned, Mr Mackay? Three things. One - bide your time. Two - keep your nose clean. And three - don't let the *******s grind you down The Two Ronnies: The man who invented the zip fastener was today honoured with a lifetime peerage. He will now be known as the Lord of the Flies Porridge: Doctor: I want you to fill one of those containers for me. Fletcher (other side of the room): What, from 'ere? Open All Hours: Don't just crit there siticising! The Two Ronnies: The toilets at a local police station have been stolen. Police say they have nothing to go on The Frost Report: I look up to him because he is upper class, but I look down on him because he is lower class The Two Ronnies: The search for the man who terrorises nudist camps with a bacon slicer goes on. Inspector Lemuel Jones had a tip-off this morning, but hopes to be back on duty tomorrow Porridge: (Playing Monopoly) Would you Adam and Eve it? Go to jail! The Two Ronnies: Ronnie Corbett (shop assistant): There you are, four candles. Ronnie Barker: No, fork 'andles! 'Andles for forks! The Two Ronnies: Ronnie Corbett: So it's good night from me... Ronnie Barker: ...and it's good night from him. Good night!
  14. No, it's Jap auto's only that do that.
  15. A leaking fuel damper diaphragm (or pressure regulator - can't remember which) can potentially dump fuel straight into the plenum at about 60psi.
  16. Is that real or a Photoshat ?
  17. Did you PM address details to MTL ?
  18. A sad day indeed.
  19. Checkout the "Enthusiast" option on the webshite that Jock posted - may be what you need.
  20. I think that's kinda dubious. I suspect the cover you get is strictly limited and doesn't include non 'business' related use. Like going shopping, going to the pub, driving to work etc etc If you have a few more cars then you can get fleet insurance. I know a family that have about 5 cars between them and the one policy covers the lot.
  21. I have separate polices for each car. However, I seem to get full NCB on both becuase they're from the same broker.
  22. I think, we need .................... a photo !

Maybe, but it's gotta be better than towing one in an underpowered FWD Metro !
